Hyunsuk's POV
"Mom I told you I'll be safe here, don't worry too much okay?"
"I'll miss you pumpkin, be safe okay. Whenever you need something just tell it to me okay? Sorry your grandma really wants you to go there"
Sighing for the nth time for today "I know, I know it's grandma's last wish don't worry I'll fit right in with the others. I love you mom"
Hearing her sniffles breaks my heart "I love you too pumpkin" then we ended the call

Away from my family, from my home I'm now here in Korea where my grandma is from. She wanted me to continue and finish my studies in her home country as I and my family have been staying in Japan ever since.

Why you ask? Well I don't really know. It was her last wish before passing away last year and I promised her, that I'll be fullfilling her last wish as she smiled widely at me until her last breath.

Hoping that I could come into terms with myself tho, I'm in my 2nd year in highschool and just transferred to Chungha Private School in Korea.

My mom is Korean and she met my dad in Japan when they're still working, they fell in love and stayed in Japan ever since.

We of course also go to Korea in school breaks or whenever we miss our grandma, she wanted to stay here as she's still the matriarch of our family. My mom was an only child so it broke my grandma's heart when her only daughter stayed in Japan. Handling me as the next heir of her business empire.

But to be honest, I don't even know if I wanted to handle my grandma's business empire. I wanted to be like my dad. I want to forge my own path. He's a famous professor in Japan. He's been busy traveling from here to there just to give lectures and I see he thrive in it. I saw him live his life happily.

I for that matter want to be a fashion designer, I love anything that has to do with fashion. I wanted to travel the world, learn different sketch pattern, different types of textiles.

My mom is the one handling the business even if she's in Japan her team here in Korea is her trusted allies.

It's been two weeks since I transferred my papers here, a week since I settle in this 2 bedroom home. I told my mom it was huge for me but she just shush me.

I wanted to lay low for a while, a life of a normal student. And I'm gonna grab this opportunity even if I have to lie.

You see I didn't told my parents that I applied for a scholarship, money is not an issue. But is there anything wrong in staying frugal?

Well I can be frugal in other things just not in food or fashion.

Ugh anyways better prepare my meals for awhile, the home care takers will be the one cleaning the house while I was away. Told my mom that I want some me time whenever I come from school, she did not budge at first but pleading works well.

Besides this area here is under her supervision so it's pretty safe and security is tight.

----------------
My school is not that far from here, so choosing between a car, a motor cycle, and a bicycle of course I'll be choosing the latter.

This school is quite away from the city, which I like. Out of the busy streets and more with fresh air. You could see the beauty and the horizon which you won't notice too much in the city skylights as you would be dazzled by the blurred lights.

After a 20min bicycle ride I then arrived at the said school.
-------------
Okay didn't thought it's huge. Like huge, tho I read in the pamphlet that they support dormitory style in here and they have their own shops inside. I didn't think it would be like this.

So that's why even if it's a dormitory type of school I heard not one bad review, what's the use of leaving this place if you already have everything inside.
