So high school (the rookie version)

Still going strong Part 2

When Lucy left her room she had a bright smile on her face. She wanted to mess with him a little at first so she texted him back that she had no idea what he was talking about. 

- Who are you?

- I'm sorry is this not the new girl?

- What new girl? I've been here for quite some time now.

- Sorry, must've gotten the wrong number.

- Well this isn't "the new girl" but it is Lucy

- You're just messing with me🤦‍♂️

- Yup

- Okay, maybe this was a bad idea. Good night.

- Wait! I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that. 

- It's fine really, see you tomorrow.

- I'm sorry, can I make it up to you?

- And what is that supposed to mean?

- Let's talk tomorrow night after school. Irl or on the phone, you choose. 

- And?

- I'll tell you more about me, and if you're up for it you can tell me something about yourself

-Fine

-Great, good night

-Night

She tried to sleep but it was not easy. All these new people and the looks she got from some people. She had wore thight jeans and a baggy t-shirt and had a hoodie wrapped around her waist in case she got cold. She realised her mistake when she had walked in to the school and they started talking about her arms so she was quick to take that hoodie and wear it for the rest of the day so noone would say anything. And then she met all those new friends at lunch. That Tim guy seemed sad and kinda lonely, even though he had his freinds it was like he wasn't there. 

Day 2 in the new school and we do not want to make the same mistake as yesterday so let's go for a long t-shirt to cover my arms and then a short t-shirt over to cover my stomach. Then I need cargo pants so no one sees my thighs. That should be good. 

She arrived at the school and already felt more comfortable then yesterday. 

N- Hey Lucy!

L- Hey!

A- What did you do last night?

L- Just ate dinner watched a movie and went to bed early. Read a book before bed.

A- Nice, wanna join us to first period?

L- Sure I jusst need to find my locker first though, got the number this morning. 12919?

A- That should be right across the hallway from my locker, follow me and I'll show you

L- Thank you! 

A- What's your impression of our school right now?

L- It's very diffrent from my last school but it feels okay, I' glad I've got you and your friend group. I didn't have many friends in my last school. 

A- Oh, and I'm sorry for Tim, he's just in a hole right now. We're trying to help him but it takes time.

L- I understand and there's no need to be sorry he's just not at the brightest point in his life right now and that is nothing to be ashamed for.

L- Thank you, but we better hurry now so we're not late
