The gentle hum of the city outside their apartment served as a comforting backdrop as Y/N stirred, her hand instinctively reaching for the other side of the bed. The sheets were cool, a stark contrast to the warmth that her husband, Jungkook, usually left behind. She blinked sleepily at the clock on the nightstand—6:30 AM. Early, even for him.

She pushed herself up slowly, mindful of the weight of her seven-month belly, and the reality of her condition brought a soft smile to her lips. Their child—Jungkook's and hers—would soon be here. The thought filled her with a mixture of excitement and nervous anticipation.

As she swung her legs over the edge of the bed, she heard a familiar sound: the front door unlocking. Jungkook stepped in, his hair slightly tousled, carrying a bag of groceries. He smiled as he spotted her awake.

"Good morning, love," he greeted, his voice warm and slightly hushed, as though not wanting to disturb the serene morning. He crossed the room quickly, placing a kiss on her forehead before gently resting his hand on her belly. "And good morning to you too, little one."

Y/N's heart swelled. Jungkook had been attentive throughout her pregnancy, balancing his hectic schedule with his new role as an expectant father. Despite his demanding career, he never missed a moment to be with her, to support her, and to share in the joy of their growing family.

"Good morning," she murmured, leaning into his touch. "I didn't hear you leave."

"I didn't want to wake you," Jungkook replied, his eyes crinkling with a smile. "You need your rest. I just went to get us some breakfast. Thought we could have something special today."

"Always so thoughtful," Y/N said, her heart fluttering. She watched as Jungkook moved to the kitchen, starting to prepare their meal. The simple, domestic scene brought a sense of peace. It was in these quiet moments that she felt the enormity of their love and the life they were building together.

As she joined him in the kitchen, she noticed the gentle hum of music playing from his phone—a soft, soothing melody that filled the space with calm. She settled into a chair at the small dining table, watching as Jungkook moved with practiced ease, setting out fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola. He turned to her, his eyes sparkling with pride.

"How's our little one this morning?" he asked, placing a bowl in front of her.

"Kicking as usual," Y/N replied, her hand resting on her belly. "I think he is excited to meet you."

Jungkook's expression softened, a look of pure adoration on his face. "I can't wait to meet him either," he said quietly, leaning down to kiss her stomach. "Only two more months."

Their conversation was interrupted by the buzzing of Jungkook's phone on the counter. He glanced at the screen and chuckled.

"It's the guys," he said, showing her the group chat filled with messages from his bandmates. "They're already planning how they're going to spoil our baby."

Y/N laughed, scrolling through the messages with him. Taehyung had sent a list of baby names, most of which were absurdly unique. Jin had promised to teach their child the art of cooking from a young age, while RM offered to provide a library's worth of books. Jimin, Yoongi and J-Hope had simply sent an array of excited emojis, their enthusiasm evident.

"They're almost as excited as we are," Y/N said, touched by the outpouring of love and support from Jungkook's friends. "It's sweet."

"They're family," Jungkook said, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "Our baby is going to have the best uncles ever."

As they finished breakfast, Y/N couldn't help but feel a profound sense of contentment. Despite the challenges and uncertainties of the future, she knew they were surrounded by love—both from each other and from their extended family.

Later that day, as Jungkook prepared to leave for practice, he turned to her, his expression serious but loving.

"Promise me you'll take it easy today," he said, cupping her face in his hands. "I'll be back as soon as I can."

"I promise," Y/N replied, leaning into his touch. "And you promise to be safe, okay? We need you."

Jungkook nodded, pressing a lingering kiss to her lips. "I will," he said softly. "I'll always come back to you."

As he left, Y/N felt a surge of emotions—gratitude, love, and an overwhelming sense of anticipation for the life that awaited them. She glanced down at her belly, feeling the flutter of their baby's movements, and smiled.

"Soon," she whispered, her heart full. "Soon we'll be a family."
