"All we're saying is that it makes no sense to leave a child in the hands of someone like You-Know-Who, who knows what they'll do to her," Lupin was saying.

The Order had called a meeting with the demigods, known to the wizards as the Royals, before the school year began. Now, the Royals and the Order had gathered at the Scalewik house to discuss what they were to do about Kit. Of course, the demigods had already addressed this but they had to ensure that the Order didn't go in and mess up their plan.

"Kit isn't just a child," Annabeth pointed out, placing a hand on Percy's shoulder to keep him calm as his patience was wearing thin.

"That's not how the ministry sees it," Kingsley spoke up, his deep voice carrying a note of caution.

"We don't give a **** about your ministry," Clarisse snapped back, her eyes flashing with anger. Although she would never admit it, she had a soft spot for Kit. Sure they butted heads a lot, but they had a mutual understanding for one another.

"You don't know what they are capable of!" Moody warned

"You don't know what we are capable of!" Thalia retaliated.

"You are leaving a child in the hands of those Death Eaters who is being tortured as we speak!" Molly cried.

"She's not a child!" Connor shouted.

"EVERYONE SHUT IT!" Percy ordered, standing up abruptly. Everyone immediately fell silent, turning to face him. "Kit may legally be a child, but you forget that she has led two wars and suffered things you wizards could hardly imagine. Kit is strong and resourceful. If she believes staying where she is gives us an advantage, then we need to trust her judgment."

Valerie nodded thoughtfully. "Percy's right. Kit has proven herself time and time again. We can't underestimate her abilities."

"Still, we need to be prepared to act if the situation changes," Moody said, his magical eye focusing intently on Percy. "What is the plan, Prince Perseus?"

Percy shared a look with Annabeth who understood that he wasn't ready to resume talking as he still needed to cool off.

Annabeth took a deep breath, stepping forward. "Look, as of now, Kit could escape without our help. One thing is certain: we don't want you charging in. If the situation changes drastically, we will assemble a group to sneak in and get her. For now, we need to gather as much information as possible and allow Kit to do the same."

Lupin nodded, his expression thoughtful. "So, our primary focus should be on intelligence gathering. We need to know what You-know-who's plans are and how Kit's situation fits into them like why they took her in the first place,"

"Exactly," Annabeth confirmed. "We're not dismissing the danger she's in, but Kit has a plan. We have to respect that and use this time wisely."

Kingsley, still looking concerned, added, "What about communication? How will Kit contact us if she needs help?" Some of the Order members nodded in agreement.

"We have a secure way to communicate," Percy spoke up, his voice calmer now. "Kit knows how to reach us without alerting Voldemort. If she needs us, we'll know."

Dumbledore spoke up. "Alright, we'll continue monitoring the situation and be ready to move at a moment's notice. But we need to make sure we're all on the same page and not act rashly."

"Right, glad that's settled," Nico said, standing and opening the door, revealing Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny who had been eavesdropping. They stumbled forward, looking slightly sheepish. Nico pulled them all to their feet and pushed them into the room.
