After the fight, Y/N had went outside so Ruby could call Qrow. He notices Maria sitting on a chair. But he decided not to pay any mind to her.

Maria: You know, you could say hello?

Y/N doesn't respond, then Ruby comes out with her scroll, hoping Qrow would answer.

Ruby: Come on... Please.

Qrow doesn't answer, Y/N gets worried as Ruby gets frustrated, before throwing the scroll.

Ruby: Where are you?!?

"Ruby..."

Maria: You know, I came out here to avoid the yelling.

Y/N walks over to Ruby as she felt guilty. He holds her hand as she looked up at him.

"Hey... It's gonna be okay."

Ruby nods before putting her attention to Maria.

Ruby: Sorry. The others went to get food for tonight.

Ruby jumps down from the porch as Y/N just sat down on the edge of it as he looks towards Maria.

Maria: Why not go with them?

Ruby: I don't know.

Ruby then sits by Y/N as he pulls her closer to him.

Ruby: I don't know anything. What do I tell Jaune and his team when we don't even have a plan? Qrow's out drinking Ozpin hasn't come back, and even if he did, I don't know if I could trust him.

"Ruby, I...

Ruby: Especially after what he did... to you, Y/N. And there's always Jinn but we only have one more question we can ask her. I feel like I'm letting everyone down.

Maria: You know, you don't give yourself enough credit.

Y/N smiles as Ruby sort of lightens up.

Ruby: Oh, thanks.

Maria: That wasn't a Compliment.

Ruby: Uh... what?

"Wow, what a way to lighten up the mood."

Maria: If I have to explain it to you Ruby, it will just defeat the purpose. But, if you're tired of not knowing anything, how about we dicuss those eyes of yours? Both of you.

Ruby gets excited and jumps up while Y/N just shrugs with a smile.

Ruby: Oh! Yes ma'am, we would be honored!

Maria: Sit back down, for Pete's sake.

Ruby sits down on the grass as Y/N leans in with interest.

Maria: Let's start with what you both do know. Tell me.

Ruby: Uh... silver-eyed people are supposed to be legends warriors. Or something. And at the Fall of Beacon, I hit Cinder with them.

Maria was a little confused, but then looks at Y/N.
