"Hold on Brenda I see someone I need to talk to". Alonso ends the call with a friend as he sees Michael taking a seat in his usually preferred region in the Ivy. Approaching Michael's table, he pulls a chair out and comfortably sits across from him. "We need to set some things straight Michael" Alonso's posture leaning back into the spread of the chair. "Like what? As far as I know I ended business with you a few weeks ago. And for the Ivy, I'm free promo for this place so don't even try insisting on getting me to leave." Michael kept his focus on his newspaper, not even sneaking a glance at Alonso. "You just need to stay away from Mina, and I'm only going to address that to you once."

"I'd like to see you try and stop me." Michael put his newspaper down to finally fix Alonso in his eyes. "You had everything with Mina, and you left. No reasons. No explanations. Now you think you're prince charming because you picked up where we left off? You're not better than me Alonso, you're not even half of me. Mina knows that. I'll be sure to remind her of that next time we see each other." Alonso pushed himself out of his seat moving his body towards Michael beaming a heated look at him. Michael stood up in reaction, "Don't let my public image fool you, I'll gladly hand you over the ass whoopin' you're asking for". Michael added, choosing his battles wisely Alonso stepped away from him. Michael scuffed at him before throwing a $100 bill on his tab for his coffee then leaving.

"What took you so long? You know I can't be seen with you especially around here. Alonso's security has their eyes on everything. Whatever you have to say make it quick." Mina pushed the frames of her shades closer to her face. Her paranoid demeanor prevented her from sitting comfortably in passenger side of her seat.

"Relax. You have nothing to worry about. I know a place." Michael's slowly took his eyes away from the road to give Mina a quick glance. Shifting his right hand on her left thigh. His touch is something that had become foreign to her and she wasn't sure how to react to him. Truthfully she was a lot more worried about his performance as a driver. It wasn't a secret that Michael loved to speed and had a slight issue following the rules of the streets.

"Michael where are we going?" Mina became more curious when they furthered steeper into an area that she wasn't familar with. He ignored her pressing the grip of his enlarged hands tighter on her thigh. Humming to the tune of his favorite set of classical music. Mina cut a side glance at him in worry. Feeling like she was putting her life on the line when she felt the car swerve immediatetly becoming nauesous. She placed a firm grip on the door handle and the imprint of her shoes were pressed into the floor of the car. Michael found her fear humurous and teased her further by intentionally swerving the car.

Thankfully the car finally stopped . They arrivied but it was nowhere special. Mina looked around cautiously. Michael opened the door reaching for Mina's hand as he gently guided her out.

"Make it quick Michael." Mina still scoped the scene hoping a familar car wouldn't see her in the abonanoned area.

"I miss you Mina, I miss us. Look i'll get on my knees and beg, crawl, cry whatever just stop putting me through this. I can't take it anymore." Michael sighed as he placed his hands in his pocket. His fist presseing into the lining of his pants as he bit his lip anxiously.

"Can't take what exactly? It's not fun being ignored and tossed to the side, now is it?" Mina leaned into the passanger side of the car with her arms crossed. "I'm not about to fall into your mind games. I'm indifferent and I want us to move on." She tried to open the car door before he grabbed her wrist kissing the underlining of her hand. Pushing his thumb in one of her belt loops he pulled her closer onto his body.

"I'm not letting you go Mina." He placed both of his hands underneath her ass cuffing them with affirmity and authority. He motioned his lips towards the side of her neck. Swearing internally as he reflected on his irrational acts.

"Michael stop, what if someone see's us?"

"I want you Mina, I could care less who sees us." His doe eyes piercied through her. Her eyes redirected to the plumpness of his lips. Locked under a magnetic trance she wanted to give in. Her mind echoed the name of Alonso but the power of passion and lust vibrated through her. She wanted to remove herself from his enchantment.

His lips inched closer to hers. His mouth watered with anticipation swallowing the herd of moisture traveling through his throat.

"Mina"

"No Michael"

"Baby..."

"Baby? Just take me home. Now! I can't go through this again. First Alonso, now you. You're sorry, he's sorry. I think I need space from the both of yall. You threw me away that night. That sealed it for me. Slamming the door in my face? I would've prefered it if you just called me a bitch instead." Michael had no additional words to add. As he drove her home it was a smooth sail this go round at least. The two just melted in between their own personal thoughts for the duration of the ride.

It was well into the night when she finally arrived home. When she opened the door she saw that Alonso sitting with his hands crossed. She flicked the light on. Confused at his behavior she tried to bypass him to get herself closer to the bathrom. He grabbed her hand with force.

"Do you love me Mina?" He grabbed her waist pulling her into masculine shape. "Do you?" Asking her again as he caressed her cheek. The caress on her cheek shifted into a pressured grip on her chin as he fixed his eyes into the windows of her soul. "You have to choose. Him or me." He steeped away from her as pressed his back into the wall. His arms folded and his bottom lip slightly stretched.

"I chose you. What do you think this is?" Deep in her subconscious she knew that her reply was somewhat disconnected. In reality she chose him in the heat of anger and pride. Had the circumstances been different would she have considered leaving Michael for him. Questions that Alonso asked himself at night when she laid in his chest sound asleep.

"I want to marry you Mina. I want life with you. I can't have that if you're still letting Michael into our world. I mean what's so special about him?" His body language twisted into a demeanor of despair.

"If dying today meant eternal life for you I would do just that because that's how much I love you. I care for you." Alonso words were true and Mina believed so but the beginning of their reformation was becoming a bit too hasty for her liking.

"Alonso I know. To be honest with you I was mad at Michael and then I got lost in the moment with you. I just wanted to feel loved and to be held. I didn't know we'd end up like this and now i'm all confused and distorted. I need time." She placed her palm onto the folds of his arms. Alonso now looking down at her momentarily before he lifted his head to face her again.

"No." His voice now cut throat and deep.

"What do you mean no?" Mina retorted as her eyebrows curved into a look of confusion. Alonso picked her up placing her legs onto his waist as the palm of his hands rested on the lower level of her back.

"It's either you're in or you're out Mina. You either love me or you don't. I know you were with Michael earlier. I hired top notch security for a reason. Nothing gets passed me. But all that doesn't matter because i'm giving you the choice to choose right now."
