I walked through the elevator doors and into the lobby of the Beckhams apartment. Little Harper run through the walkway to the lounge room, and jumped into my arms.
Shortly after the one and only, Brooklyn walked through.
He shows us all to the kitchen where all the Beckhams are.
Everyone starts chatting when Brooklyn pulls me aside.
"You look gorgeous tonight" he whispers in my ear.
"Save it" I say as I walk back to our families.
Brooklyn keeps trying to catch my attention but I ignored him the whole
Dinner was delicious! We had steamed rice, veggies and meat.
While dinner I felt my phone vibrate from a text. I looked down at my phone under the table and saw a message from Brooklyn.

Claud👗🎈 - On Saturday, I was at the park with Paige and Clare
Brook😍🎈 - Chloë! Oh shit, Claud I can explain!!!!!!!

I didn't look at anymore texts but I could feel lots come from the vibration in my pocket.
As soon as dinner finished I told the families I was feeling a bit unwell and mum and I had a small conversation with looks.
S - I'll come and check on you in a bit?
C - Sure
B - I'll walk her out.
C - Thats ok. You stay.
B - No I want to.
We walked to the elevator awkwardly.
I pressed the button to go up to the pent house and Brooklyn pulled me close. I untangled myself from his grip and he sighed.
B - Look Claud. I broke up with her that day.
C - So while you kissed me and went on dates with me but you had a girlfriend.
B - Yes. But,
C - Thats all I needed to hear.
As I hoped into the waiting elevator and pushed the close button on Brooklyn looking at me with a lost look.
