It was 3 weeks until Prom and I was worried!
Brooklyn still hadn't asked me so I decided to ask this new boy.
< his name was Luaus. He had been at school for 2 weeks and he was already really popular because he was HOT! About 1/4 of the girls without dates had already asked him but he had simply said, No Thanks.

I walked into school with Macca.
(Brooklyn had stayed home today)
I spotted Luaus amongst the crowd of girls and some boys around him.
I put on a brave face and walked up to Luaus.
C - Hey Luaus! Can we talk for a minute?
L - Sure Claud!
We walked over to a corner and his 'posy' {crowd} waited for us to finish.
C - So I know you have said no to everyone, but would you like to go to Prom with me?
L - What about Brooklyn?
C - He hasn't asked and I don't know if he was going to anyways?
L - Well I would be honoured to go to Prom with you, Claudia Waldorph.
C - Same with you, Luaus Bass.
We both laughed and then the bell rung. We both hurried off to class.
