It's been like a week sense I fell out in class and so today my dad and my mom both of them actually are taking me to the doctor to do some testing so I won't be at school today.
I am now getting ready to go to the doctor as I said and yall I'm nervous what if I have lupus or some other illness.

Her outfit
After I got dressed I fixed my hair I was supposed to get some hair stuff and do my hair in some braids mom is been teaching me how to do my own hair and how to braid it and stuff.
Once I did my hair I grabbed my phone I placed my necklace on and my earrings and then I slipped my shoes on and I went downstairs.
" Good morning princess how are you feeling today " said dad.
" Good morning daddy I'm fine but in my mind I'm freaking out because we have to go to the doctor's office to see why I fainted three times " I said.
" Micaéla your going to be fine babygirl God has a final say even if you get diagnosed with something " said dad.
" But I'm scared daddy I don't want anything to happen to me buy like you said I'm going to be ok " I said.
" Aaliyah please stop nothing is going to go wrong ok despite the diagnosis so stop it right now " said dad.
" Ypu can't eat breakfast now because they have do testing and you have to do a glucose testing as well so yeah "
" Brad dropping Brandon them to school right sense we carrying my precious princess to the doctor " said mom(American).
" Yeah they just left I got all them up dressed and I fed them so they are school I also called Micaéla school telling them she won't be in today " said dad.
" Oh wow I have a little pregnancy brain babe but great thank you " said mom(American).
" Your welcome now let's go her appointment is at nine and it's eight " said dad.

Los Angeles Children's Hospital
We were now here so we all got out of the jeep and we walk in the hospital and dad told them who I was here to see.
She told us where to go and that's where we went dad signed me in and we sat in the waiting area inwas scared so I sat on my daddy and rested my head on his shoulders.
" Sweetheart don't be scared you're going to be ok don't worry " said mom(Bahamian).
" Do you want just your daddy to go in with you " said mom(American).
I shook my head no because I wanted all of them in the room with me I'm going to need them there with me.
" Micaéla Stampley " said the nurse so my dad got up with me in his arms and my mom them got up as well and we followed her.
We walked into the exam room so she had to do a oral glucose testing so I had tondrink something sweet and they gave me fruit punch flavor.
But she took my blood before I drink it and then indidnt have no food overnight so yeah once she did that she told me to start drinking.
I drinked it as slowly as I could because I didn't want to throw up but it was nasty I managed to drink all.
" That taste so nasty it's so gross why did I need to drink that " I said.
" You needed to drink it so they can check your glucose " said dad.
" Ok so we tested her blood and now we are gonna wait about an hour to two hours maximum " said the nurse.
When the hour was up they had me drink another one and that's it then we waited another two hours.

2 hours later
" How are you this is morning this is Dr. Jones she is an endocrinologist and she will tell you what she found with the test results " said Dr. Richardson.
" Hi I'm Dr. Jones and I heard that Micaéla fainted three times and has been dehydrated so when this happen it can be diabetes or something else so with her testing her glucose levels came very high it was 240 mg there are two types of diabetes Micaéla can be diagnosed with " said Dr. Jones.
" During the testing we noticed how high the blood glucose was and so we ate going f test her to see if she has type 1 or type 2 diabetes "
They tested me and I am now diagnosed with type 1 diabetes which is also known as juvenile diabetes or some people call it insulin- dependent diabetes, which is a chronic condition.
Well to break it down for yall my pancreas makes little to no insulin which is a hormone my body uses to allow sugar to enter the cells to produce energy.
" Micaéla you will now need to take insulin and also monitor your blood sugar often be mindful of what you eat you prescription for your insulin and blood monitor went through CVS pharmacy and the insurance company is covering the expense so she can choose between doing injections or using an insulin pump " said Dr. Jones.
" What's the difference and my daughter doesn't like pain so I would say anything painless for her " said dad.
" Well the pump is tubeless as well but I suggest using an insulin pen they can be disposable and refillable I will also have her on medication as well she will need to take felodipine , aspirin and cholesterol medication she are to take them daily " said Dr. Jones.
" I am going to show you how to perform the insulin your parents can help you so you inject it in any area you would prefer it to be injected which can be your butt, below your navel or the arms "
She injected it showing me and mom them and dad so we left the office and then went to the pharmacy and got a two month supply of everything.

I know in real life diabetes is not cure but in this book it will be curable and she will se the doctor every two months.
