POV Aether

I smiled at Xiao as I waved my hand. "Hey new student. I heard so much about you-"

"If that's so, you won't have to talk with me since you know everything" Xiao said as I looked a bit stunned at him.

"W-well..." "Are you gonna keep quiet now?" Xiao rolled his eyes at me and I was still completely dumbfounded.

WHAT DID I DO???

I just sighed and looked out the window of the classroom. "Stop breathing so loud" the guy next to me snapped and I turned to the boy "Xiao was it?" I asked

The teal haired just nodded and I said: "I really would appreciate you being nice to me."

Xiao scoffed:"And why the hell should I be nice to such a loser like you? Just looking at the other students, you aren't very popular huh?"

I was kind of stunned as I looked a bit sadly at Xiao and then turned away.

I just sighed and looked at Ms Ningguang so I could concentrate on lessons.

It was about the war that took place 500 years ago. That's boring....
Why? Because everyone knows the story of the gods fighting against each other, and the 7 nations were created by our 7 Archons.

So, not a big deal as I then just looked out the window, watching people in front of the academy looking over.

I saw a man with a kid, must be his father then. When the man pointed at the academy, I was sure he was telling his son to one day going to this school.

Well, i wouldn't say it's bad here. We have our own uniforms, roommates, free food, and many clubs! It's actually pretty surprising how many teachers are working here.

But if I would be thinking about the size of the school, it's pretty big. No wonder we students have to clean our dorms ourselves.

Would be way too much work for the staff and the housekeeper.

So I'm actually happy being able to help.

I smiled a bit to myself as my new seatneighbour looked annoyed at me.

I turned to Xiao as I smiled a bit awkwardly "Can I help you?" "I don't need help" the guy sharply said and I chuckled awkwardly. Can't that guy be nice for at least once???

But being serious, what should I expect. That guy...is surely criminal. I mean, from what I heard from the others about GBM...

"They are drinking like...so often!"
"I heard they are all no virgins no more"
"GBM members, they always cause trouble"
"Wasn't it like they beat up anyone?"
"I'm sure they are stealing things"

I sighed and just kept listening to the teacher. But before I could fully concentrate on that, I felt a paper ball hit my head from the side.

I flinched by that sudden action and I looked where the ball came from. My bullies were chuckling quietly on the other side of the classroom and I just ignored what they did.

But as expected, they couldn't stop throwing those balls. Wow.

My seatneighbour noticed and had enough as he gave the bullies a death glare. What's wrong now...?

"Stop that" he said in a cold tone. Being honest, it sounded scary, I could pee myself! But of course I wouldn't.

The bullies looked at each other and then just kept quiet. Strange...that never happened.

I looked at Xiao. Was he really that famous for his gang? Or does he just have dangerous looks...

As I kept staring at the guy, he noticed himself and again gave me that annoyed look. "What." He said with such a deep voice, I could melt in that place. >>Aether...focusss...!<< I thought to myself

"N-nothing" I stuttered and turned back to lesson. The said boy just turned as well and instead of listening, he just laid his head on his arms and...

>>Fell asleep? Seriously???<<

I sighed and just let him sleep. It's not my problem that he is not getting anything from the lessons.

~Timeskip~

I was sitting in the academy's library as I searched for books about the war 500 years ago. I wanted to know more about the gods we worshipped so much.

But as I finally found a book, the librarian Ms. Lisa came to me.

Lisa waved to me and I came over as well. "What is it Ms Lisa?" She smiled and replied "Hey, Principal Jean said you would have a new roommate. She told me to tell you to help him get around"

>>You gotta be kidding me<<

"Ms Lisa...does it have to be ME???" I asked with a hopeful tone, as she chuckled. Obviously a yes.

I sighed and put the book aside. I then started walking up to Pr.Jean's office room as I noticed a tall man talking to her. So I first knocked, on which I was invited to step in.

I stepped inside and greeted a good morning.
Ms Jean smiled at me as she told me to step more in the room. Next to a tall man stood Xiao. Again with his hood on.

I confidently walked in the room as the tall man smiled friendly at me. That must be Xiao's father then. Seems like that dude is way more friendly than his son *cough*

Ms Jean spoke up:"Now, Aether, this is Mr Zhongli, the father of the you already known Xiao."

POV Zhongli

I looked at the blond haired kid. A happy one as well. Good thing that it's that little...dude? Or girl?

Whatever, a good thing seeing my son with such a happy child. Hopefully...they will get along well.

POV Xiao

That blond again. So thats is my new roommate? Perfect.

It's not like the personality is way too lively and happy for me.

But what is more concerning...
