Even though my father kind of hates me, he still is nice enough to drive me to school. I get dressed in a black crop top and blue skinny jeans. I go to my closet and search through my shoe boxes. I finally find black wedges and I'm finally ready. I go down stairs to find my dad waiting for me. Once he hears me come down the stairs he flies out the front door and starts his car.
" Dad? " I ask
" What?! " He says clearly annoyed by something.
" Do you hate me? "
" Leslie, even if I wanted to hate you I wouldn't be able to bring myself to. I love everyone of you kids. But, I just am having a hard time coping with her death still. Please, anything bad I say to you do not take it for real, I really do love you." he explains.
" OK, thanks daddy for the drive. "
" Your welcome."
I hop out of the car and walk into school. I kind of feel out of place because I finally decided to get out of my comfort zone. When I walk into school I pull off my sunglasses and everyone is looking at me. My sister being her snobby self, walks up to me and starts screaming at me.
" What in the Lord's name do you think you are wearing? " She yells.
" What I want to wear, not what I have to ."
I hears a chorus of " ooh's. " She walks away and I can swear I see fire in her eyes. Also, Steam out of her ears and nose. When I walk to my locker all I get are wolf whistles and glares. I head to Science for 1st Period of the day.
