Ch 2

(Youngtaek's Pov)

Watching Kendal leave I get back in the van and we head to the dorms I getting out and head inside with the others Daeyeol hyung giving me a look when we all enter the living room. "Mind explaining what exactly went on?" I sigh and say softly. "Apparently fairies are given gifts when they're born and Kendal was gifted with obedience. He has to do anything that's worded like a command even if it's sarcastic. So the waitress sarcastically told Kendal to bite her and the curse took it literally so he bit her." They all stare at me wide eyed Cato saying sympathetically. "Gosh poor guy." I nod in agreement and say softly looking guilty. "I accidentally forced him to come out with us. I stupidly told him to come with us and he had to listen so I feel bad for making him." Their expressions soften a little Jangjun speaking up. "You didn't know about his curse though. And it's not like you made him do anything bad." I shrug. "We need to be careful with what we say around him though. I don't want to accidentally force him to do anything." They all nod in understanding and soon I excuse myself going to bed where I slowly fall asleep.

(Kendal's Pov)

Waking up the next morning to my alarm I get up stretching my wings fluttering and head to my closet pulling on some jeans and a simple shirt I quickly getting dressed then go brush my hair and teeth before heading downstairs. I see Gabe at the stove cooking I saying softly. "Good morning." He turns his head to look at me a concerned look crossing his face. "Are you okay?" I sigh taking a seat at the table. "Yesterday ended up with me almost being arrested. A waitress sarcastically told me to bite her." Gabe winces and gives me a sympathetic look. "And of course your curse took it literally. How'd you get away?" I think back to Youngtaek and smile a little. "A guy I met took me out with his friends and he had one of his supernatural friends who was a demon fill the room with smoke and we all ran." He raises an eyebrow at me. "And did you explain to this guy about why you did that?" I nod and say softly. "He apologized because he accidentally made me go out with him and his friends. He was really upset about making me do something even though it wasn't harmful." Gabe looks a little wary. "You should be careful around him. Who knows if he turns out dangerous or not." I frown at him. "He doesn't seem like the type of person to use my gift against me. He seemed horrified by the idea of me being forced into something." Gabe says protectively. "Still I want you to be careful." I roll my eyes but nod understanding his concern. He then hands me a plate of food I thanking him and eat happily before I get up wishing Gabe a goodbye before I leave heading to the entertainment company. I head up to the styling room where I go over to my station Rudy immediately coming over to my side saying quietly. "Tag explained about your curse. I'm sorry you have to go through that and just know that we'll all look out for you and won't let yesterday happen again." I blink a little feeling a little nervous. "So you all know?" He nods but gives me a reassuring smile. "We won't tell anyone else it'll just stay between the group members." I slowly nod and the head stylist comes in she getting out attention. "We don't have anyone today so you're free to do whatever." I frown but Rudy looks excited he smiling at me. "Do you want to go see the guys practice?" I blink and give a hesitant. "Sure." He smiles and takes my hand leading me out of the room and to the elevators. Once we exit on a certain floor and head down to a room Rudy gently knocking on the door someone instantly telling us to come in and Rudy leads me inside. Everyone turns to us as Rudy skips over to his mate's side I giving a shy nervous bow. "Hi. I hope you don't mind me being here." I receive reassuring kind smiles and I relax slightly as the leader Daeyeol speaks up. "It's fine you're welcome here anytime." I smile thanking him then head towards the back where I take a seat on the couch Youngtaek soon skipping over to me. "Hey. How are you?" I give him a little smile. "I'm okay. Still feel bad and embarrassed about yesterday." He gives me a sympathetic look. "I'm sorry that happened to you." I shrug him off. "It's not your fault. I just wish I didn't have this stupid curse." He nods in understanding before changing the subject asking me questions about myself. I answer them we getting to know each other better until Daeyeol calls for him to come back to practice. The significant others come back to the couch they all taking a seat on the couch or in the floor and we all watch the guys practice I a little amazed and impressed. Once they finish their routine I gape a little. "That was so amazing!" I receive a bunch of thank you's I smiling and then watch as they do more routines until I shift a little I whispering to Rudy who's beside me. "Um I'm going to go to the bathroom." He looks at me and nods I getting up and head out of the room I going to the bathroom and do my business washing my hands before starting to head back to the room only to freeze when I hear someone call out. "Hey little fairy!" I pause and turn around nervously seeing an older man who approaches me. "You know you're a pretty little thing." I immediately feel a little uncomfortable saying nervously. "Um thanks." He hums before asking flirtatiously. "How would you like to go on a date?" I shake my head saying softly. "No thank you. I'm not interested." He scowls at me about to say something when suddenly Youngtaek comes jogging over I feeling relieved. "Hey we're waiting for you back at the room." I nod and bow politely to the man before I start to leave only for him to say firmly. "Come on go on a date with me." I tense about to say okay when Youngtaek quickly speaks up saying firmly. "Don't do it!" I sigh in relief the man looking angry. "You stay out of this." Youngtaek glares at the man. "He doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want to do. Now come on Kendal." I quickly follow him glad to actually listen to the demand for once. As soon as we reach the room he looks at me apologetically. "Sorry for the demand but it seems like you didn't want to be near him." I nod in understanding saying reassuringly. "It's fine Youngtaek I appreciate it. I didn't want to go on a date with him." He smiles a bit and we head inside the others looking at us with a raised eyebrow. "You guys sure took awhile." I look a little sheepish and Youngtaek speaks up. "A guy was trying to pressure Kendal into a date and almost made him agree because of him demanding it. I had to step in and stop him." They all look at me in concern I saying reassuringly. "I'm okay. Youngtaek luckily spoke up before I could agree." They all nod and my phone goes off I seeing a text from Gabe asking if I'm okay I assuring him I'm fine. I then look at everyone I saying softly. "I'm gonna go guys but thanks for letting me hang out." Youngtaek quickly speaks up protectively. "I'll walk with you incase that guys still hanging around." I blink but nod in appreciation we heading out and to the elevator. "My guardian was a little wary about me telling you about my curse but I'm grateful you haven't tried to take advantage of it." He looks at me as we enter the elevator. "Anyone who would instantly take advantage of you because of something you can't help is a crappy person." I smile a little nodding in agreement. "I'm actually surprised my parents let me come here for a career but I'm glad they did. I've been hidden away and coddled my whole life because of my curse." I let out a little sigh. "My parents tried to give me a normal childhood but it was hard. They gave me a birthday party once and it turned out horrible. I blew out my birthday candles and my mom accidentally told me to dig in and I of course started stuffing my face with cake. Everyone called me a freak after that." He frowns slightly. "That's not right. Were you always bullied?" I shrug. "I mean when I was allowed around other kids I was seen as weird. Except for Gabe. He was being bullied and I stood up for him." I can't help but smile a little. "The bully told me to shove off and I shoved him to the ground. He landed face first in the sandbox and ran away crying. I got in trouble but Gabe and I have been best friends since." An amused smile crosses his face. "That's actually cool." I nod smiling then look disappointed when we reach the lobby. "I better get home before Gabe freaks. But it was nice talking to you Youngtaek." He smiles at me brightly. "It was nice speaking to you too. Will you text me later?" I smile and nod before giving him a soft goodbye before I head home.
