"Boothill, hurry up and choose! There's so many dishes, and I want to eat now!"

"I don't know which one though," he scratched his head. "You got any ideas?" He glanced up from the menu and gazed at you.

"Let's just settle for a classic burger and fries."

"Soda too, right?"

"Yeah." You called the waiter over. "Two Halovian Winged Burgers and Potato Fries Sundae, please." She took off and began submitting your orders.

"Winged burgers?" Boothill asked, confused.

"Never tried it."

You and Boothill took up on Penacony's Clock Diner. He planned this date a couple days later after Topaz let you both off the hook.

"Ain't Topaz gonna face consequences?" He asked you.

"Earlier today, she told me not to worry," you said. "But I do hope she doesn't get in trouble."

"If you see her, tell her I said she's whip-smart and tough."

You chuckled. "Sure, I will." Out of the corner of your eyes, you noticed the waitress coming closer to you. Your food came along, and you couldn't believe your eyes!

It was a burger, but not just any ordinary burger. And fries, but not just any ordinary fries. But they were decorated with such unhealthy condiments that could give you and Boothill major sugar spikes!

"Uhm... I don't think we ordered this...?" You glanced at all of the food settled on your table.

Boothill frowned at the meals set before him. "Darling, we're missin' somethin'. Where's our actu-"

"Oh, the drinks! Don't you worry. Two Classic SoulGlads coming right up for two soulmates! Anything else?" The peppy waitress smiled.

"Hold up! Y'all don't have a sundaes or somethin'?"

"And Two Hundred-Layer sundaes... got it!" She scribbled down the order on her notepad.

"Wait! That's not..." But the waitress took off in a hurry, leaving you and Boothill in a tangled ball of yarn.

"I thought they served regular burgers and fries... not whatever this is..." You held up the fries, staring at the huge cold slop of vanilla sundae sitting atop.

Boothill glanced at the burger, which is really just two chicken wings sandwiched between strawberry frosted donuts. "Is it bad that I'm kinda tempted? As the sayin' goes, you only live once." He grinned and popped a sundae-covered fry into his mouth.

"Well? How does it taste?" You waited for his answer.

But you didn't need to wait. He popped more and more french fries in his mouth. "Y/N, dig in!" he urged.

You lifted the fry to your mouth and took a bite. A blend of salty and sweetness zinged on your taste buds. Next thing you know, you and Boothill were quickly devouring the fries to the bottom.

A couple minutes later, the waitress settled your sundaes on the table and smiled. "My, my! I see you are enjoying our Potato Fries Sundae! Would you like more?"

Unfortunately, your stomachs were filled to the brim with fries and vanilla. Boothill groaned and leaned back in his chair. "One more fry and I'm gonna vomit everywhere."

"Same here. Let's eat this burger instead." You grabbed your winged burger and took a bite. The wings were crispy and flavorful, and the donuts were soft and sweet. It was a combo that didn't make sense, but was quite decent. "Hey, this isn't bad. Try some." You nudged him playfully.

"I'll be off. Let me know if you need anything. Enjoy!" The waiter left you two alone.

Boothill took a bite of his burger. "These wings remind me of that famous singer. You know, posters of her up on the walls and buildings." His face shifted to a cherry red color all of a sudden.

"Are you talking about Robin? I've been to one of her concerts. I can't forget that melodious voice of hers!"

"I always hear people chitterin' about her next performance. They really love her, huh," he wheezed and coughed. "Whoa."

"Are you okay?" You asked.

"I feel like I got kicked in the tongue," he coughed more and sipped his sundae. "Man, this winged burger is hot!"

"Isn't it supposed to be sweet and salty...?" You took another bite and swallowed. Savory. Sugary. "I barely taste any spice."

"You got higher spice tolerance than me," he wheezed again. "I need to build mines up."

You patted his shoulder, offering him support while chuckling at the same time. With your encouragement, he actually finished the burger-only that he had to drink your sundae to down the spice!

"I'm never eatin' that ever again," he muttered under his breath.

You finished your burger, but ended up with a sore stomach. The world was spinning a bit from after all the sugar. "My stomach can't handle this. Let's go to the hotel."

"Good idea." Boothill didn't mind paying the bill, and you both left the diner and walked to the hotel. He laced your hand with his, walking through the beautiful dream.

Kids bounced everywhere, parents trying to get a hold of them. On the sidewalk, there wasnso many suitcases stacked onto each other, it was at least ten feet high.

You noticed a blonde child cheering on the very top of the suitcase, dancing like he wouldn't fall off. His Dad tried to convince him to come down, but he refused and kept rocking.

"It's feels great to have everything back in place," you smiled at him as you entered your hotel room. You locked the door, and strode to the kitchen to pour yourself and Boothill a glass of milk.

The sides of his mouth turned up. "You sure? Feel like there's still somethin' missin'..."

You paused, confused. "Like what, sweetheart?"

His hands slid onto your waist and pulled you closer with a smirk on his face. "Kissin' ya." He pressed his lips to yours, and you savored the sweet kiss. No matter how amazing the food tasted at Clock Diner, it couldn't beat this delicious moment.
