Chapter Two- Whatever

God damn it. Is he really that stupid? He's looking at me with those confused eyes..

"What?" I grumbled

I wish more people were educated on this type of stuff.. This is supposed to be a nice event. Not another chance for me to have to answer this idiot's questions.

But before I could even finish that train of thought he smirked

"Maybe don't put your legs in the water if you don't want things touching them. You could just like- sit with your feet up."

"Tsk, whatever."

I roll my eyes at him and lift my legs up onto the dock. At least he wasn't reprimanding me or demanding that I look him in the eyes or something..

"So, why are you over here all alone like that? Makes you look kind of like a loser."

Jeez. Is he that oblivious? did he actually just call me a loser with no damn shame? Who the hell does that?

"I just like the quiet. people are annoying so I prefer to be alone."

Please get the hint, please get the hint, please get the-

"What? no way. being around people is great! If I spent all day alone like that I would go crazy! It must be so boring being a loner."

Damn it. He didn't get the hint. That or he ignored it..

"Oh! I have an idea, You should come to my next gridball game and watch me totally beat the other team! It'll be awesome- maybe you can hang out with me and Haley or something after!"

Gridball? Really? He wants me to come to his stupid gridball game? Like that's happening. Sam said that they're super loud.. The only good thing sounds like the food.

"Yeah, no way in hell."

"Aw come on.. I'll buy you pizza after!"

Damn it. He knows how to win me over. Who can say no to some nice, hot, pizza?

"Fine. Only this once..."

And that's how I got stuck in a stuffy gym chatting with Alex before his gridball game.. Definitely not a situation I want to be in but at least it's something to do.. I would so rather be reading the newest volume of Solorian Chronicles instead though.. How long until I get to leave again?

"So, sports.. I assume you're a pretty big fan if you're wanting to be a gridball player?"

God, that sounded stupid.

Woah! An even shorter chapter that took even longer! Tbh idk if I'll finish this I'm uninspired but I wanna write it if that makes sense. I kinda just have writers block and keep writing myself into holes :3
ok in all seriousness sorry this took so long and is so short, I didn't want to keep you all waiting for even longer and with school starting back up for me soon I wont have as much time to write. I'll try and plan out the plot better so I can have some idea where the story is going instead of doing this, though!!
