it was 1 in the evening and we already did our workouts, we've been up since 8 working out and now coach was letting us go off and do what we wanted til 7 because that's when we would go to the field because that's when the sun would start going down. Some of us drove here so we had our cars with us, I drove so me and Peyton were going to the mall "let's see if there mall is better then ours" I told Peyton "I doubt it" we got there and went in and it was nice but it was about the same as ours with a little more stores "let's go and see if they have any nice cleats" Peyton said because she wanted some new ones for Friday but I just wanted some new ones for whenever not Friday tho because I got my lucky cleats for big games. "These are cute" Peyton said showing me these pink ones, she ended up getting them and I left with a pair of white ones and some spikes for track season. We were going to do more shopping but decided to stop by the food court to get something to eat since we haven't ate all morning "yea we got this game in the bag if Harper keeps her head in the game because she's really good but sometimes she plays around and fumbles the ball" "yea with Kiara having beef with them girls we got this in the bag because everyone knows how she gets when she's against someone she doesn't like" Peyton said "yea I wonder if they are even any good or if they were just talking" "they seem all talk so I don't know but guess we'll see- what are you looking at" Peyton said turning around to see what I was looking at because I was just staring off as she spoke "damn he's got a brother, he's fine as fuck too" she said talking about the guy we met yesterday and a boy that looked exactly like him "damn they walking this way" Peyton said turning back around making me laugh "ay it's Kennedy isn't it" he said now at our table "yea never got your name" "oh my bad it's Javon and this my brother Jaden" "where's your girlfriend" I said not noticing I had an attitude "ion know and she ain't my girlfriend" "didn't seem like it in the parking lot yesterday" Peyton said taking a bite of her food causing his brother to laugh at her "what happened in the parking lot" Jaden said asking Peyton "down each others throats well she was doing most the work" she said causing Jaden to laugh and I hid my face not trying to laugh in his face " it wasn't even like that" Javon said embarrassed by the way she explained it. We were walking around the mall with the boys and they were pretty cool, Jaden and Peyton were hitting it off and even exchanged numbers. I was talking and Javon was looking down at me keep his eyes on me as I talked showing that I had his full attention which made me blush a little but him and that Kennedy girl had something going on so I knew it wasn't like that.

I couldn't help but admire her as she spoke, she was just really pretty, we had the perfect height difference, and I could smell her perfume as she walked and it smelt good not too strong or anything, everything about her was just perfect, I knew not to catch feelings tho because they were only here til Friday but Jaden and Peyton already seemed to get close by exchanging numbers and went off on their own, I got knocked out my daze when I started getting a phone call "hey" "Javon where are you" Kennedy said sounding pissed "the mall why" "with who" "Jaden" "well that ain't what Hailey told me" "what Hailey tell you" I didn't like Hailey, Hailey was her friend but she was as drama causing as Kennedy was "she said she saw you with some girl but she didn't know who it was that she never saw her before" Hailey didn't play football with them so she wasn't at the beach yesterday so she didn't know who Andrea was, which was a good thing because if she did know Andrea was the girl I was with she would have told Kennedy and she would be pissed as fuck and probably would have drove up here "I'm with Jaden so ion know what she saw" "just know whoever the bitch is know when I find out imma beat her ass" "alright Kennedy I ain't got time for this, bye" I said as I hung up in her face "what she wanted" "just complaining like always" "why do you even hang out with her" "I don't know because she's caught feelings and I really haven't but I feel bad" "you could do better anyways" she said once looking me in the eyes now looking straight ahead but she was right I could do better as in her, only if she didn't live in Texas.

"It's already 4 and we have to be back because we have practice at 7" "why so late" "so the sun can go down" "ah well guess we should find Jaden and Peyton" "yea wherever they ran off too" we saw them walking out a store so I called out to Peyton which made her look back "yea" "we gotta go" "what time is it" "4 almost 5" "oh shit we do don't we" she said as her and Jaden walked over to me and Javon "well we're gonna head out see y'all it was nice to meet you Jaden" I said "you too" he said not taking his eyes off Peyton "bye" she told him side hugging him in which he leaned sideways and said "text me when you make it" as if we couldn't hear but it was cute even tho we were only here til Friday so I wasn't planning on falling for no one but Javon was making that hard "bye Andrea y'all be safe" "we will"
