She had gotten off the phone so she could go shopping and I had to go and train I didn't want too because I wanted to talk to her but i gotta do what had to be done. I was running on the treadmill when she had texted me so I stopped running to check my phone "wanna watcha doing you still had a minute to go" my dad asked but I just picked up my phone and texted her back but as I sat it down he can over and took it. "Can have you distracted" he said putting my phone in his pocket. I didn't say anything because I would have just made it worse on myself. I finished up my running and did all the other things I had to do and I've been in the gym for about 2 hours or more so I was done and went back to the house and just sat on the couch.
It was getting late and he'd finally came back up from the gym, "can I have my phone back now" "this thing is distracting you and you gotta stay focused and ready wanna, imma keep it for a bit" "what the fuck" I said under my breath getting up and going to my room "I'm sorry wanna it's for the best right now you'll think me later" "sure thank you so much" I said sarcastically

I didn't want to take his phone but it's what's best for him at the moment because of boxing and everything, I knew that it might cause him and his girlfriend to drift apart and I didn't want that to happen but he needed to focus.

I went to the room and told Jessica about everything and she was on Javons side with this one "but I can't just give it back to him because then he won't focus" "whatever you think is best but I would at least let him tell her what's going on" "your right"
I headed up the stairs and towards his room and his door was slightly open so I looked in and seen that he had pulled out his iPad, lord this kid wasn't letting anyone stop his from talking to her.
I didn't go into the room I just headed back to the room, "did you talk to him" "he's pulled out his iPad to talk to her" "well just see how this plays out, if the iPad becomes a distraction then do what you have to do but he'll only be on it when he has time to sit around so it shouldn't cause him to be as distracted" "I guess your right we'll just see what happens"

I just laid there and thought about her words and his, I haven't been focused and I needed to take this more seriously and I didn't want to admit it but Andrea was my distraction but I couldn't just stop talking to her because that would ruin things between us.
I just got to learn to balance both things, but how?
