Miranda and Ben began seeing each other more regularly, their connection deepened with each passing day. They enjoyed exploring each other's interests, from sharing stories about work at the hospital to discovering mutual hobbies outside of their professional lives. Ben's easygoing nature and sense of humor complemented Miranda's strong personality, creating a dynamic that felt natural and fulfilling.

Their budding romance didn't go unnoticed by their colleagues at the hospital. Miranda's friends and colleagues, including Callie and Arizona, quickly picked up on the positive change in her mood. Gone were the days of Miranda's sharp retorts and tense demeanor; instead, she seemed lighter, more at ease, and often caught with a smile playing on her lips.

At work, Miranda's focus on surgery became even sharper, her confidence seemingly bolstered by the support and happiness she found in her blooming relationship with Ben. Colleagues remarked on her renewed energy and enthusiasm during procedures, noting how her presence in the operating room seemed to uplift the entire team.

Even Webber, who had noticed Miranda's earlier struggles, couldn't help but remark on the positive uptick in her mood. During one of their interactions in the hospital corridors, he pulled her aside with a knowing smile.

"Bailey, I have to say, it's good to see you in such good spirits lately," Webber remarked warmly.

Miranda returned the smile, feeling grateful for his acknowledgment. "Thank you, Chief. I'm doing well," she replied, her voice tinged with genuine happiness.

He nodded approvingly. "Keep it up. Whatever you're doing, it's working."

Miranda's relationship with Ben continued to blossom. In the break room one morning Callie, couldn't help but tease her gently. "Well Good morning to you, what's gotten into you lately? You're practically glowing"

Miranda grinned, unable to contain her happiness. "I guess I'm just in a good place right now," she replied, her voice tinged with contentment.

Callie raised an eyebrow playfully. "Is it because of Mr.Special?"

Miranda blushed, but she couldn't hide her smile. "Maybe," she admitted with a shy nod. "Ben and I have been spending a lot of time together."

Callie's eyes lit up with delight. "That's wonderful. I'm so happy for you."

Miranda nodded gratefully "Thank you, Callie. It's been really great. Ben makes me laugh and he's so thoughtful."

Callie squeezed Miranda's hand affectionately. "Well, it definitely shows. Keep enjoying each other's company. And if you ever need someone to cover for you so you can steal some extra time with Ben, just let me know," she teased.

Miranda laughed, feeling lighter than she had in months. "Will do," she promised.

Miranda's world seemed to be settling into a pleasant rhythm with Ben by her side, but a sense of unease began to nag at her. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. Trusting her instincts, she decided to take a pregnancy test.

Miranda paced anxiously in her bathroom, staring at the pregnancy test resting on the counter. Her mind raced with worry and uncertainty. She felt a wave of conflicting emotions—shock, disbelief, anger. Why now? She and Tucker were over; she had moved on with Ben. The thought of having Tucker's child now threatened the newfound happiness she had built with Ben. She knew she needed to talk to someone.

With trembling hands, she dialed Callie's number, praying her friend would answer quickly.

"Hey Miranda, what's up?" Callie answered cheerfully, unaware of the turmoil Miranda was facing.
