THE BOLTER

@ vficsxxCLIMBING UP IN THE TREES WAS A skill that the Azgedian's were taught young. It wasn't like they were climbing up some small tree, no. They climbed up huge, tall trees. They could disguise themselves perfectly so no matter how hard you looked, you couldn't see them.
Avelina was sat up in a tree, watching over the boy who was tied up. She waited for either an animal or his friends to come so she could hit them with an arrow.
She had been taught how to use many weapons young. A bow and arrow, a spear, a sword, anything. Well, besides guns. All of the grounders were against guns.
Since she was eight, she trained harder than ever. She never wanted to, but it was practically forced on her. She was a nightbleeder, so she had to do more than others.
Her mother was the queen. She wanted Avelina to be able to train hard enough so she could become the Heda of the clans one day. Currently, Lexa Kom Trikru was the Heda.
She wasn't entirely sure what she wanted, so ever since she could remember she would listen to her mother's wishes.
She sat up in the tree for a few hours before the boys friends finally came. She could recognize some of the faces, most of them had been at the river when she captured the boy. There was a blonde girl, a brunette boy with short hair, two other brunette boys with longer hair, and a darker boy with short black hair.
Avelina watched, preparing to shoot them with arrows. But then, she heard a growling in the distance.
"What was that?" The blonde asked.
The Sky kids couldn't see through the tall weeds, but from up in the tree Avelina could see that there was a panther headed right in the kid's direction.
Except they weren't exactly kids, they were her age. Teenagers.
She couldn't feel bad for them, so wouldn't let herself. There was a part of her that wanted to, but she used every bone in her body to refuse it, shaking the thought away. These people trespassed into Azgeda territory, it's their own fault.
But they didn't know...
Quiet.
They thought Earth was empty.
It's our home. They abandoned us.
It's their home too.
Avelina huffed as her thoughts collided together, practically fighting in her head. She watched the teenagers approach the panther. The blonde yelled "Bellamy, gun!" towards a brunette boy. He reached to his waistband, going to grab for a gun that wasn't there.
