I'm lost in the facade.
My eyes stinge from the sight, and pain shoots over my body as I survey the situation in front of me.
'It's always been die or kill.' Words throb in my heart, making it slice into a million pieces.
I have always thought that heart was meant to ache, and the brain was meant to be cut through, but I get it all wrong.
Heart is meant to be silent, and the brain is meant to ache.
I'm locked in a room, and I just got to know that Adam works with them. He was sent to the asylum to get me.
To get me.
Did I deserve this?
I'm not insane. I'm not insane. I'm not insane.
Knock
I dont respond and stay cocooned on the corner of the bed with my arms hugging my legs.Someone opens the door and comes inside. Adam Kent is here.
Resentment burns hole in my heart, and my eyes glare at Adam and shoot fire through them.
The person whom I thought as a friend was none other than a foe.
The minute i rejected konig's offer, he ordered his soldiers to get me to a room, and the soldier that came forward turned out to be none other than Adam Kent.
"What!?" I yell and keep glaring at him.
"Look, Ceci-"
"No! You betrayed me!" I yelled again and grabbed the pillow that was beside me and threw it at Adam.
He dodged the pillow but looked at me with those eyes.
Those pitiful eyes. Those sympathic eyes. Those brown eyes.
Adam slowly walk forward towards me, "Cecily. Listen." His voice is so soft. So soft.
"No! Get out of this room!" I yell again, but he comes forward anyway.
My body trembles from the thought of him... touching me. I want to know what a skin feels like. I want to know what muscles feel like.
'You are a monster!' I quickly rewind my sanity and wrap myself in the blanket.
"Cecily, I'm really sorry, but we needed you to be fine." Adam whispered and walked beside the bed.
"What do you mean by you needed me to be fine?" I looked up at him with my big blue orbs.
His brown eyes are like the honey that is summoning me to drown in it. Sleep in it. Die in it.
I quickly divert my gaze to the wall and stare at it.
Adam doesn't respond but suddenly crouch down my bed.
I stare at him. My blue ocean eyes flooded and dropped down my blood coloured lips.
He tugged something from under my bed and stood up with it.
A white blanket, which was a little torn but not too much.
I already have a blanket, so I wondered what this blanket is for?
I stared at him with questionable gaze, and Adam quickly understood what I wanted to say.
"I am ordered to sleep with you." Adam quickly slid down on the floor with the blanket.
Floor must be cold, and I wonder why he didn't sleep with me on the bed?
"Adam?" I mumbled softly.
"Hmm?"
"Isn't the floor cold? Aren't you cold?"
"It's fine. I have the blanket."
"You can sleep with me on the bed."
Adam look at me as I peek down from the bed and stare at him.
His pupils dilat, and his lips part. Those pink rose like lips.
I always wondered how it's like to kiss those lips.
Adam shook his head, "Won't I die if I by mistake get touched with your skin?" His voice even at an edge. A pitiful gaze, and then his eyes are forcefully closed.
He will die if he touches me.
Sometimes, I wonder why I have this curse.
Someone once called it a blessing and then she died.
My mother used to call me the death because everyone in my life died. Dies. Will die.
"You should sleep, Cecily." Adam mumbled. His voice is so careful, so forced. Maybe not.
"I'm not sleepy, Adam." I replied back and stared at the ceiling.
Disturbing images cloud my vision.
Die. Die. Die. Die. Die.
I close my eyes for a moment and again opened them.
"Cecily?" Adam mumbled, oblivious of my situation.
"Yeah?"
"Have you ever seen Konig before?"
"What do you mean? Off course not." I glanced at Adam down the bed, and he stared back at me.
I sometimes wondered what it would be like to kiss someone?
My blue eyes clashes with his brown eyes. Water mixes with honey.
My white hair tangled down a little from the bed due to gravity. Gravity of the situation.
Tag, you're it.
