I stared at myself in the mirror.

I look like a monster. A monster who is untouchable.

Tears dripped down my eyes.

Why am I like this?

Dejection turned into agony.

My light blue eyes became a shade of something darker.

My heart scattered into millions of pieces.

Knock
"Cecily? Are you there?" Adam's voice interrupts my breakdown and I somehow compose myself.

"I-im here! Coming!" I gave myself in the mirror one last lingering glance before I quickly wore the dress handed to me by Konig.

I combed my hair quickly and stepped out of the bathroom only to find an anxious Adam out of the door.

My face stayed static and I showed no sympathy for Adam. Except a little tingle in my scattered heart pieces.

Adam betrayed me again.

I asked him if he can help me run out of this sector, out of this massive luxurious building and he rejected the offer saying that Konig will kill him.

I asked him why but he didn't answered me that time.

Adam finally turned around and looked at me. Stared at me and his eyes devoured me.

The red sparkly dress was definitely uncomfortable but Adam bought stockings to wear underneath the dress but I still don't forgive him.

Adam cleared his throat and diverted his gaze from me, but he wasn't able to, "l-lets go, Cecily. Sir Warren is waiting for you outside."

Outside?

Now I know why Adam was so anxious.

I nodded but my expression doesn't change. I stay emotionless.

My heart is betraying my mask, so I sinked it deep inside myself.

I slowly walk out of the door with Adam's gaze following me. Everywhere.

Warren is here.

He has his big back turned around me but as soon as I got outside, he turned around.

His usual cold expression still lingering on his face.

But his eyes.

His eyes tells a different fairytale.

He stared at me. At my dress and then my face.

Then my eyes clashed with his.

His stormy eyes mixing with mine and creating a tsunami.

A tsunami where everyone dies because I was there.

"Let's go." Warren stated.

His hands were covered with gloves and a grey tailored suit fitted around him, but then my eyes landed on something. A necklace.

A gold necklace with something shiny diamond like thing in it which can probably open but I quickly diverted my gaze and stared at Warren.

"Go back to your service, soldier." Warren started to Adam and he marched out of the hallway within seconds.

"I already told you, Warren. I won't do any business with you." My face still stayed static but something betrayed me.

The broken pieces of my heart.

"This." He came a little forward but still at a distance, "This thing? Does it make your heart race, little hellion?" He point at me and him

My lips parted at his sudden statement.

"Are you mentally unstable, Warren? Or a Psycho?" I frowned at him.

He smiled.

Warren smiled.

His dimples paved their way into his usually cold face.

Those digged holes in his face digged holes in my heart aswell.

My already broken heart scattered to more pieces.

"Let's go, Cecily." Warren suddenly again turned cold.

His cold cold pale white skin. His face is so defined that I am trembling now.

"Remember my words," I mumbled as I started walking to where Warren took me.

We walked down the corridors but I noticed that in this place, there are no windows.

This place is definitely brighter due to the amount of lights here and there but not a single one is natural.

Many guards stand at the very ends of the corridor.

I again turned my attention to Warren.

Warren who is already staring at me. Boring holes in me.

I frown upon him but he doesn't take his gaze away as if he is fuming at me. He is angry. Loathing me.

Suddenly a guard catches upto Warren, "Sir."

Warren divert his gaze at him and just stare at the guard, making him tremble.

"S-sir, Ian Lewis is here."

"Bring him there." Warren says and suddenly grabs my writs with his gloved hand.

He is holding my wrist.

Warren starts leading me into couples of halls and then we reach somewhere which was so luxurious that it feels illegal to be in there.

It was a very big room or hall. There were many dining tables but one of them was decorated. Lighted by candles, fancy plates and glasses with a white cloth beneath them.

I glanced at the whole place at one before Warren was again tugging me to the table.

"Leave me." I stated firmly and glared at Warren big back.

Warren glanced back at me but continued dragging me to the chair and pulled out one for me.

I glanced at him and a small burst of pink appears in my cheeks but I hesitatingly sat down on the chair and he pushed me forward like i was nothing to be pushed or pulled down.

Warren sat down in front of me. Looking elegant as ever. His light blonde hair styled perfectly and his gret suit also perfect.

My silver hair was put down and came up to my shoulder but still not too long and my red dress was a little uncomfortable to sit with but thanks to Adam.

"Why have you called me here?" I stared at Warren.

"I just want to have dinner with you. I want you to involve with more people as you have been in the asylum since too long." Warren stared back at me, his grey eyes becoming light grey once again.

Involve with more people? And then he takes me here, alone with him?

I scoffed, "I want to leave from this place."

"Where are you gonna go? To the destroyed world outside? To the civilian who barely make out any food? Back to the asyl-"

"Shut up, Warren!" I yelled, done with his constant here and there mocking,

But then, I see Warren staring at something.

My hands.
