The second stage initiates from a week to a month after the initial infection starts, depending on how much the host exercises. Their appearance will take on more vibrant colors, as is a result of the sugar mites laying eggs. Their hair may also start expanding to either a pinkie-pie like hairstyle or a wild sharp mane of spikes, the reason for this is yet to be discovered. This is not guarantied from pony to pony.
The pain and headaches do not resume until stage 4. Their hair releases a spore-like substance, so a gas mask is recommended if contact must resume.
