"You only love the idea of me loving you."
No, that's not true. I love you for more than just the idea of how you love me.
Now, let me tell you something-
He's not what you'd call a high standard, and I know he's not the type of man every girl dreams of. He's simple and genuine. He doesn't play the guitar, sing, or dance well. He can barely cook. He's not rich or famous and maybe not as handsome as you'd think. But I love him for who he is.
He might not excel in those areas, but he excels in ways that matter to me. He takes care of me, makes me laugh, and is always there during my toughest times. His patience is unmatched, and he always does his best to make me happy. He plans simple dates, suggests building a fort just so we can do it together, and takes me to the movies. He listens when I cry, waits for me to open up, and never forces me to do anything. He understands me more than anyone else. His love is unconditional, and that's more than enough for me.
He's insecure, but he doesn't know that I could stare at his face all day. I call him handsome every time because that's exactly what I see. I want to care for him, to wake up to his face each morning, to hear his voice throughout the day. I love being in his presence, enveloped by his scent, feeling the touch of his skin. The comfort and warmth he brings make me feel at home. I treasure the small acts of love, like making his favorite breakfast or sharing quiet evenings together. His laughter fills me with joy, and his embrace offers solace in difficult times. When he's away, I feel a deep ache, a sense of incompleteness. Even if we do nothing or say nothing, just being with him is enough.
I love him for more than just the thought of him loving me, I love every detail of who he is. I love him for being himself.
He may not fit your standards, but to me, he surpasses them.
He's different from anyone else, and it's precisely this difference that I love.
I love every part of who you are.
