None of them had said a single thing since the realization, and soon enough they each began to leave the bathroom. Logan was the first to leave, followed by Remus and Janus, and soon after Patton. Roman and Virgil took the longest to take their leave, but nevertheless they too followed after the others. They each met in the living room, none really sure how to start this conversation. The awkward tension in the air grew exponentially in a matter of seconds, however as the time ticked by Logan spoke up.

"How much longer does everyone plan to avoid the conversation at hand?"

"Well Logan I don't think that's quite fair, I mean this is a big change! I'm not sure anyone knows how to express what they're feeling right now," Patton pointed out.

"No. Patton I actually believe Logan has a point. I mean we all need to talk, despite what we may be feeling right now."

"Thank you Roman, though it's clear the situation is very different from anything we've dealt with before. As such, there is surprisingly little to no knowledge I could provide, but it's clear we cannot simply wait around for the answers to figuratively fall into our laps."

"So we just know nothing then? I mean what even happened! How did this happen?"

"I apologize Thomas. I do not think I can provide a direct answer. The best thing we could do is try and reach a thesis, or a guess as to what we believe may have happened."

"Well the answers are just so obvious."

Roman rolled his eyes.

"An obvious lie Janus. I mean come on, if your gonna lie at least try to make not quite so in your face."

"Now Roman. How about we don't give Janus tips on how to lie quite so easily."

As they bickered amongst themselves there was a knock on the door. However everyone was too focused on the topic at hand to even notice, except one.  Virgil was snapped out of his thinking as he heard the knock. While the others had been conversing, he on the other hand had been busy, well in simple terms being anxious. Before he could try and say anything however a man they would all recognize walked into the apartment.

"Hey Thomas! Sorry for coming on such short notice but I think I left my-"

Joan cut himself off as he noticed 7 pairs of eyes all staring at him.

"Oh hey sorry, is this a bad time? I didn't realize that you would have quests over. I can come back later if need be."

Silence filled the room. Everyone's mind was internally screaming at this point. (Except Remus) How were they to get out of this one. Before any of them could really think, Janus come forward and stuck out his hand.

"Why hello, it's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Janus. Everyone here is very good friends with Thomas. I take it you must be Joan?"

Joan returned the handshake.

"Oh haha, I see. Well it's very nice to meet you. Sorry for intruding on your visit, I just think I left my phone over here."

"Haha, it's no problem. Thomas why don't you help your friend out here."

Thomas stared at them for a second before snapping out of it.

"O-oh right, here let me help you find it."

"There's really no need, I believe I just left it on the counter."

Joan motioned towards the area where is phone laid.

"Anyway Thomas, you'll have to introduce me to your friends next time. Maybe we could all hang out sometime."

"Friends? Oh right sorry my friends! Brain farts am I right.....haha."
