Yusra's eyes widened in horror as the soldiers dragged a young man from the cell. He struggled and kicked, but they held him down, their guns pressed against his head.
"No! No! Please!" his mother screamed, her hands reaching out in desperation.
The soldiers ignored her pleas, their faces cold and unyielding. They pulled the trigger, and the young man's body slumped to the ground, his eyes frozen in a permanent stare.
Yusra felt a scream building in her throat, but it was stuck, unable to escape. She was paralyzed with fear, her mind reeling with the horror of what she had just witnessed.
The soldiers continued their brutal display, executing person after person, their bodies piling up in the courtyard. Yusra's community, her friends, her family - all being slaughtered in front of her eyes. She felt a hand grasp hers, her mother's, yusra's eyes filled with tears.
Yusra couldn't tear her eyes away, her mind numb with shock and grief. She was trapped in a living nightmare, unable to escape the horror that surrounded her.
Yusra's heart was heavy with grief, her mind reeling with the thought of what would happen next.
Would they be spared, or would they be next in line for execution? Only time would tell.Yusra's eyes widened in horror as the soldiers dragged people from the cell, killing some and cutting off their fingers. The severed fingers were then thrown into the crowd of living people, taunting them with the brutal reminder of their own mortality. The sound of screams and wailing filled the air, as the living were forced to watch the gruesome spectacle.
The soldiers' cruelty seemed endless, their actions designed to break the spirits of those who remained. Yusra felt her own hope dwindling, her mind reeling with the thought of what might come next. She clung to her mother, her grip tightening as she struggled to maintain her composure. The brutality continued, with the soldiers showing no signs of mercy. Yusra's heart heavy with grief, she wondered if she would ever escape this living nightmare. Would she be next on their list, or would she be spared to suffer another day? The uncertainty was suffocating, leaving her gasping for air in a world that seemed to have lost all humanity.
Suddenly a high ranked soldier came out of nowhere and started to yell at them.
"Did I told you to do this? Did I tell you that today our aim is to slaughter this community? Damnit GET OUT OF MY SIGHT".
The soldiers being scared of their senior went out from there.
The courtyard was quiet, except for the sound of sobbing and wailing. The few dead bodies lying there and some were yearning, their loved ones were now coming to them crying from grief.
The soldiers finally stopped, their guns silent.
As the soldiers' rampage finally subsided, the courtyard fell silent once more. Yusra's eyes remained fixed on the gruesome scene before her, her mind struggling to process the atrocities she had witnessed. She knew that she would never forget this horror, this brutal display of power and control. It was etched into her memory forever, a painful reminder of the darkness that humanity was capable of.
Now people were carrying the body of their family, friends and loved ones. Crying helpless some were going out of control.
But the only thing their mouth was saying."Alhumdullilah for everything"
Alhumdullilah for everything "
"It's okay Allah if it's our Destiny, if you've decided it for us then we accept it"
"Allah I gave my son for your sake"
"Allah it's okay"
"Sufficient for us is Allah and he's the best disposer of affairs"
People there were still calling Allah, still remembering Allah knowing Allah will solve all of their problems.
Believing that Allah will take their revenge from them. And after that Yusra was never like she was before.
