Author’s POV
He said those words and hugged him tightly.
"I tried to read them... but I couldn’t," Hardik whispered, voice tinged with pain. "All I saw were cold eyes—eyes that showed no love. I could've understood you better... if you had just told me."
Rahul gently made him sit down and explained everything—every truth, every hidden moment. They consoled each other in silence, falling asleep side by side in their bed, emotions spent.
Morning
The sun rose gently, casting golden light through the window.
Mahi woke up and saw Jaddu sleeping peacefully, soft snores escaping his lips. Smiling, Mahi carefully slipped out of bed and walked to the kitchen.
He prepared breakfast for the two of them—simple, warm, and made with love. When it was ready, he carried the tray back and sat beside Jaddu.
"Jadd... get up, naa," he said softly.
Jaddu stirred, blinking against the sunlight hitting his face. He stretched and looked at Mahi holding the tray.
"Mahi ji, aap uth gaye? Time kya ho gaya?" he asked in his groggy morning voice.
Mahi chuckled. "Bas... get fresh and come eat."
Jaddu nodded and walked toward the bathroom. Once he was done freshening up, he returned and sat beside Mahi to eat.
They laughed and talked a lot, the room echoing with love and light.
At 9 AM, Mahi stood up. “Jadd, I need to get ready now.”
"Oh okay, I’ll pack your lunch," Jaddu offered, starting to get up.
But Mahi stopped him.
“I prefer you making my lunch… I miss your cooking.”
Jaddu smiled fondly. “I will,” he said and left to prepare it.
When Mahi returned from his shower, he found his outfit laid neatly on the bed. He went downstairs and saw his brothers enjoying breakfast.
He approached Jaddu, who smiled and handed him the lunchbox.
"Kya banaya hai?"
"Khichdi."
Mahi lit up. It was his favorite.
He left for work, heart full.
3 PM
Jaddu started feeling bored at home. He messaged Rutu, Rishu, and Ishan, inviting them out. Once they reached the mansion, they sat down to chat and spilled some tea.
Suddenly, the tops—Shreyas, Shivam, and Shubman—arrived home.
"What are you all doing here?" Shivam asked.
"Kuch nahi, bhabhi. Socha tha bahar chalte hain," Rutu replied.
"Haan, main bhi Ishu ke saath," Rishabh added.
"Great, chalo then!"
They all headed to the mall. Jaddu, being considerate, messaged MS, letting him know he was going out.
At the mall, the couples got busy in their own worlds, leaving Jaddu to wander alone. He entered a luxury watch store and saw a stunning watch. Instantly, he knew it was perfect for Mahi.
Without a second thought, he bought it—for a staggering 4.8 crores.
"Jaddu, mujhe bhi chahiye!" someone whined.
