"Wait, this isn't one of those stories!"

"Bring it back down to earth!"

We appear back down, showing a view of Japan.

"Much better. On with the story!"

uh-huh....

Well, down to the ground level of Japan, a tired woman was seen sitting on a bench within a small children's playground.

This was harlequin l/n.
A business woman, and a single mother.

Today was one of her few days off, so she decided to bring her son to the playground to get out of the house for once.

A bit of information.
In this world, there are these odd abilities, labeled quirks. Super Powered individuals have become the new normal. Only 20% of all of humanity don't possess these extraordinary abilities...

Harlequin is a part of that 20%.
Her son, thankfully, was not.

In the eyes of society, those who don't possess a quirk are seen as inferior. Harlequin is thankful that her son doesn't have to experience such a reality.

However, not everyone that has a quirk is seen as better than those without. Some are looked down on solely due to what their quirk is. That part is what scares harlequin. Her son has yet to show his quirk. She knows he has one, just not what it is...

Hearing the sounds of laughter, harlequin looks up, and saw her son. A small boy with h/c hair, and e/c eyes. Wearing brown shorts, a small red sleeveless jacket, and a small hat with three horns on it. Y/n l/n. Her son. He seemed to be playing with a boy with green hair.

As harlequin was watching her son make friends, she noticed another woman sit down on the bench with her. Green hair. Just like the boy.

???: "I presume that little one is yours?"

Harlequin: "y-yeah... I'm guessing the hair runs in the family?"

The two women share a quick laugh, as their sons are seen running around, playing.

Inko: "I'm inko. Inko midoriya"

Harlequin: "harlequin l/n. But my friends just call me Harley"

Inko looked at Harley for a moment, seeing the tired look in her eyes.

Inko: "oh dear.. are you alright? You seem tired"

Harlequin: "y-yeah... I'm fine. Just had to do overtime last night at work.. and the night before that..."

Inko: "I see.."

Harlequin: "don't feel too bad about it. Just doing what's best for my kid..."

Inko looked at Harley for a moment, before smiling.

Inko: "that's a mother's job after all"

Harlequin: "yeah.."

Meanwhile, the two boys were seen rustling around in the bushes.
Y/n l/n and izuku midoriya.

They were currently playing hero! Izuku pretending to be the number one hero, all might! And y/n was pretending to be a giant monster!

Y/n: "raaawr! You'll never defeat me all might! Raaawr!"

Izuku: "You won't escape this time villain! Because I am here! Hahaha!"

Sadly, before either kid could continue, a loud rumble could be heard from above. The clouds began to darken, as the rumbling of thunder could be heard.

Y/n: "aw man.. we were getting to the fun part..!"

Izuku: "it's ok! We can play some other time!"

Izuku smiles, as y/n looked at the green haired boy. Y/n then returns the smile, and nods.

Y/n: "yeah!"

The thunder grows louder, startling the two boys. Off in the distance, their mothers called out their names, worried.

Harlequin: "y/n! Come on sweetie! It's time to go home!"

Inko: "come along izuku!"

The two boys started to journey their way to their moms, but y/n stalls behind... He looks up in the sky, with flashes of yellow appearing in the clouds.

Izuku quickly ran into his mother's arms, as she, and harlequin came into view.

Harlequin: "oh, there you are kiddo... Come on, let's get home before it starts raining-"

She stops, as the louder rumble echoes... Suddenly, a bolt of lightning strikes down onto y/n, putting fear within his mother's eyes.

Harlequin: "y/n!!"

But the boy did scream. Nor did he make a sound.. it was odd... The dust that covered the area from the strike began to dissipate, revealing something.... Prehistoric.

Right where y/n once stood, was a juvenile triceratops, with bright yellow scales, and vibrant orange crest. The dinosaur looked at harlequin, inko, and midoriya confused, before letting out a bellow....

That was ten years ago....

Now, that young boy, y/n l/n, now fifteen years old, was seen sitting underneath a tree, drawing the very prehistoric reptile that appeared from the lightning strike...

Y/n: "aaaaaand... Done! Whatcha think chomp?"

A small pur is heard. Resting right next to the boy was a tiny, almost chibi version of the triceratops.

The triceratops, named chomp, jumps into y/n's lap, and looks at the drawing, before giving a happy squeal, clapping his front feet.

Y/n: "heh, thanks bud!"

Y/n put away the sketchbook, and pets chomp on the head. He then looks up into the skies above.

Y/n: "few more months... And I'll be able to get into UA! and maybe... Maybe I'll see izuku again too!"
