He'd been intrigued about flying ever since her, him, Glen, and Monica had been in that Cessna, and found himself wondering how it must be to fly like a fighter.
Sitting backseat with his mask on, he looks off to his side, watching and smiling as they make simple maneuvers up between the clouds, slicing through the white mass swiftly.
The flight had been silent, and Taylor had assumed he was just taking it in for the first time.
It was constricting, and he must probably feel like there is nothing but metal surrounding him at this point. His own life was not in his hands right this moment, and it could be a terrifying feeling, one that Taylor knew and had felt countless times prior.
Yet, she'd never had a back-seater be so very quiet. It was something she might have to get accustomed to.
And then, he speaks.
"How long have you been flying?"
A simple question.
One she was intrigued by, one that intrigued him enough to ask, yet she couldn't stop the words flowing out of her mouth, and her lips pulled upwards unwillingly.
"Wow, he even talks..." Taylor drags it out, playful smirk on her face.
Miles chuckles, and she swears her smile grew the tiniest bit brighter, "Just been looking around, taking it all in."
Taylor hums, nodding her head as she keeps her eyes focused on the sky ahead, then the controls below.
"So?" Miles pushes, curiosity having the best of him.
Taylor breathes, making a mental calculation before she replies, "Jeez, I think it's been, what? Eleven, twelve years or so?"
"Wow. That's a very long time." Taylor nods once again, muttering, "I guess it is..."
"You never felt tired of it?" Miles further questions.
"I don't think I could ever get tired of flying." Taylor breathes out a laugh, continuing, "It's, it's like the equivalent of yoga for me. It's something that brings me peace."
