The scent...It was a good scent, a warm scent, a scent I was only ever used to a few times when I was a kid.

I felt a light weight bounce on my stomach. And a childish voice holler my name.

Just a few more minutes of sleep, just a few more.

"Leeeevi-saaaan get up!" I heard Eren holler.

I opened my eyes and saw Eren with flour on his cheeks and sweat dripping from his forehead and onto my cheek.

"What are you doing Eren?"

"Okie Hanji-san! He's up, bring it in!" He hollered to the door.

Hanji pushed the door open with her back and carried in a tray of breakfast foods.

"Me and Auntie Hanji made you an authentic Japanese breakfast! Rice, Grilled Fish, Miso Soup, Pickles and a Japanese style omelette." He smiled at me.

"Y-You did this for me?"

I was speechless, this kid really knew how to hit my feelings.

"Of course Levi-san!"

I still couldn't speak, I just wrapped my arms around him and hugged him tightly.

"Aaagh, Levi-san, the food....its going to get cold." The small child blushed in my tight grasp around him, and with ease I let him go.

"Your right, let's eat."

Hanji handed Eren the tray of food, which was probably a bad idea because he almost dropped it...but he didn't.

He set the tray across my lap and sat at the edge of the bed staring at me in anticipation waiting for me to take a bite.

I grabbed the fork and sliced off a part of the omelette and was about to put it in my mouth, until I noticed how stingy Eren was being.

I gave him a smirk and shoved the small piece of food in his mouth, his eyes growing wide and his cheeks getting pink.

He gulped it down whole and looked up at me.

"I-It's good..."

A small snicker escaped my lips and I began eating the rest of the food.

By the time it was all gone, both me and Eren had split it all, and we both needed to brush our teeth.

I handed Hanji the tray and as she took it to the kitchen, I lifted myself off the bed, carrying Eren on my shoulders.

"Here, you can use my new brush before I can go out and buy you one."

"Okie." He held the toothbrush I handed him in his palms before sticking it in his mouth and brushing gently against his teeth.

I handed him a cup to spit in and finished brushing my teeth.

I heard a knock on the bathroom door and saw Hanji standing there.

"Um, Levi....'You know who' is here."

"Damn it!" I cursed.

I lifted Eren up off my shoulders and set him onto the floor, crouching down to meet his eyes.

"Eren, there is a bad man at the door. I need you to stay in the bedroom with Auntie Hanji. Understand?"

He nodded and clutched my finger.

"But what about you Levi-san," He hugged me and began to cry.

"I love you."

Right when he said that to me...my heart began to skip a beat.

"Eren, I love you too. Your like a son to me-"

He interrupted me.

"No no Levi-san, I mean, I LOVE you...like...I wanna marry you when I grow up."

At first I thought he was kidding, be he kept staring at me with a blush on his cheeks and intimidation in his eyes.

I squeezed his hand tightly.

"Eren, I'll be right back."

I let his hand go, in fear that I might not be able to hold it again.

My back was turned and I heard the young child screaming and crying my name behind me, being held back by Hanji.

I couldn't help but start to tear up, hearing him loudly sob, then being silenced by Hanji...but I immediately stopped crying when I saw who was at my doorway.
