2. Little Cutie Eren

"Oi, Hanji, get the fuc- I mean, get up!" I corrected my self, I don't need this kid to be hearing curse words, even though he already yelled 'hell' at me.

I tossed the bag of her ramune at her and she immediately woke up.

"What is it? OH! You got my ramune!" She squeezed the bag as I set Eren down on the ground since my arm was getting tired from carrying him.

"Thank you Levi! Oh, what's this? A child?" She saw Eren climb onto the couch next to her.

"Yeah, I found him outside all alone, he apparently has no memory of what happened."

"Aww, what's your name little guy?" She smiled at him, even though he looked like he was about to start crying again.

"L-levi-san, who is this scary lady!?" He huffed and jumped off the couch and ran over to me.

"Haha, no worries Kiddo! I'm your great aunty Hanji!" She smiled widely and chugged her bottle of Ramune.

"A-aunt Hanji...?"

"Yep, thats my name kid, don't wear it out!"

"Eren, we should probably give you a bath...god only knows how long you were out in the pouring rain" I lifted him up and carried him to the bathroom.

I turned on the water and filled up the tub, also adding some bubbles Hanji brought over.

"Now take your clothes off so I can wash yo-" He just sat there and looked at me with a blush.

"Fine fine, I won't look"

I turned away and heard him rustle his clothes off, before wrapping a towel around his small body.

"Can I look now?"

"...Yeah..."

I turned to see him still with pink flushed cheeks as he was holding his towel together so it wouldnt fall off him.

"Ok, now let's get you in the tub-"

"I can do this on my own..."

"Alright. I'm gonna be in the living room, just dont make a mess, and holler if you need me" I sighed at him.

He nodded as I closed the door and headed to sit on the couch with Hanji.

"He's a cutie, Levi" she smiled at me.

"Hmph, yeah he is. Im just afraid I'll get too attached is all..."

"Oh! You got mud all over your shirt." Hanji pointed out.

"Shit, let me go get changed."

I hugged when I stepped off the sofa and into the hallway, stripping my shirt off along the way.

I opened the door and saw a naked Eren standing in front of the door, facing the wall with his cute little butt facing me and him struggling to put one of my shirts on.

He finally noticed I was there and turned around and pulled the current overlarge shirt to cover his crotch.

"L-Levi-san!" His eyebrows furrowed down.

"G-Get out-" He stopped when he noticed I was shirtless.

"Please...get out." He looked down and handed me a shirt the he had tried on that was laying on the floor.

I smirked at him and closed the door while heading back into the living room.

I sat on the sofa and slipped my shirt on, looking over at Hanji to notice her going through the little bag Eren had when I found him.

"Levi, you should look at this."

She handed me the bag and a wet letter that I was barely able to read.

"Dear stranger,
Thank you for finding my dear son Eren. I hope you take good care of him and make sure he forgets about his previous life. I left some of his clothes in his bag and some of his favorite snacks. Please take good care of him and love him with all of your heart, and make sure his ____ never finds him.
Sincerely, Eren's Mother"

I wasn't able to read what that one word meant, it was all smeared.

Who should I keep Eren away from, and why? Why would his mom abandon him like that?
So many questions...

Well at least she left him clothes and food.

I heard little foot steps hit against the hardwood floor as Eren ran through the hall and into the living room.

"Lookie Levi-san, Auntie Hanji! It fits just right, don't you think?" He smiled and held his hands on his hips while wearing one of my black long sleeved shirts.

"Hehe, yeah it fits you just right!" Hanji laughed and fell over.

"Come on Eren, I have some underwear and socks for you to wear." I grabbed a pair of underwear and socks from his bag and slipped them on him.

"There, just perfect."

He smiled and held a thumbs up at me.

"Alright its time to go to bed, I can tell your sleepy."

"I am NOT sleepy!" He argued and rubbed his eyes.

"Don't argue with me and let's go." I picked him up as he pouted out his bottom lip.

"Im just gonna crash on the couch." Hanji sighed and laid on her side while turning down the TV and watching Celebrity Wife Swap.

Me and Eren headed to the bedroom and I set him on the large bed, turning off the lights and laying next to him.

He quickly fell asleep and curled up against my stomach, throwing his one leg on top of mine.

I pushed his brunette locks out of his eyes and tucked it behind his ear.

"Good night Eren." I kissed his forehead and dozed off into a deep sleep.
