~ CHAPTER 7 ~

Blair Zabini

"B wake up class starts in half an hour" Luna said in a sweat voice whilst trying to wake me up as nice as possible.

I let out a groan whilst rolling over onto my stomach.

"Okay that's it I tried to be nice" Luna said before pulling the covers off my bed. It was freezing right now as we were slowly headed into winter.

"Luna I am going to kill you" I gasped as the cold air hit my body. "No your not you love me to much" the blonde girl smiled before skipping out of the room.

"See you in DADA in 25 minutes" she smiled before shutting the door behind her.

I sighed and went to go collect my duvet from the floor... hold up. 25 minutes. Shit. I missed breakfast and my hair takes fucking half an hour. Shit shit shit.

I have never got out of bed so quickly in my life.

I quickly got my uniform and robe out of my wardrobe before getting dressed at the speed of light before rushing into the bathroom to do my hair and brush my teeth.

I couldn't be bothered messing about trying to make my hair look half decent so I pulled it up into a messy bun before quickly slapping some makeup on such as concealer and mascara. That just shows how little time I have.

Once I was done I walked out of the bathroom before grabbing my bag and heading towards DADA.

As I was walking down the corridor being pushed around because of how busy it is and watching the panicked looks that was plastered on nearly every first years face about being late made me giggle slightly.

"What you laughing at" I heard a voice from next to me. "Just every first year's face right now" I said looking up and seeing my brother. "Glad I'm not the only one sis" he replied also laughing.

"Anyways what lesson you got" he asked as he placed his arm over my shoulders. "DADA. You?" I asked back. "Lead the way dear sister of mine" he said whilst moving his arms as if to say lead the way.

"Oh you have got to be shitting me" I laughed. "Now now that's not very nice. Respect your elders" my brother pouted. "Bitch I'm older than you" i protested. "By like 1 minute" he shrugged. "More like 10" I replied whilst raising my eyebrows at him. "Yh yh whatever" he laughed before we looked up and noticed we were outside the classroom.

We walked in and was immediately greeted with a... lady? Dressed head to toe in pink.

I heard Blaise stifle a laugh from next to me before I slapped my hand over his mouth to shut him up.

"Boys and girls must be within 6ft of one another" she said in a prissy tone before walking towards us a little. "Your joking right? He's my brother" I replied also trying to stifle a laugh now from her ridiculous comment. She can't be serious.

"I am not joking miss..." she started. "Zabini. Blair Zabini. And this is my bother Blaise Zabini" I smiled sweatily. You could see the sarcasm in my smile.

"I see. Sit down at opposite sides of the room" she snapped before walking back to her desk.

I took a quick glance at my brother before he burst out laughing. "Mr Zabini is something the matter?" The Pink lady snapped. "Nope nothings wrong at all" he replied pulling himself together as I took a once over the class.

One side of the room was girls and the other was boys. So she wasn't joking.

A few seconds later me and Blaise took our seats. I was sat in the middle of the room next to Cho with Luna and Hermione on the table in front of us then Daphne and Pansy behind us.

"Now then. I am Professor Umbridge. I am your new DADA teacher. We will be working out of text books" she said as she started sending out books with a spell.

"Is she okay?" I asked Cho as I looked in her direction. "I don't think so" the brown haired girl replied in her Scottish accent. " This is stupid" I said to myself whilst slouching in my seat a little.

"What's stupid" a voice in my head said.

I knew who that was immediately.

I turned in my seat to face the back corner where I saw Mattheo sat next to Draco. Looking directly at me.

"Get out of my head riddle"
"I will if you tell me what's stupid"
"That's non of your business"
"Oh but it is Zabini. Now tell me. What's stupid?"
"Ugh fucking hell. Okay fine. The fact that pinky pie from my little pony can walk in here and make up her own rules then think it's better for us to learn out of books rather than spells"
"How I didn't come up with that name for her I will never know. See you later doll"

And just like that he was out of my head.

I turned my head a little to see him laughing to himself then telling Draco about the pinky pie name causing him to laugh as well.

It was now 5 and I was currently sat in the library sorting out my potions notes for Mattheo.

"Let's get this over with shall we" he sighed as he took the seat opposite me. "I didn't think you would actually show up" I replied as I looked up from my book from potions. "Very funny, now chop chop I'm meeting Theo at 6:30 for a smoke" he replied whilst taking the book out of my hand.

"You know smokings bad for you right?" I asked whilst leaning on the table in front of me. "Yeah. Corse I do" he shrugged. "So why do you do it?" I questioned whilst tilting my head a little.

He looked like he was thinking for a minute or two before he put the book down and looking directly at me before replying with "takes the pain away" before picking the book back up and taking notes from it and writing it down.

I decided not to push and ask what pain needed taking away.

"This is fucking shit" Mattheo sighed about an hour and 10 minutes into the session. "Cmon it's not that bad" I replied as I took his notes from him to see what he was struggling with.

Amortentia.

"You can't cut that fucking bean or whatever it is" he protested. "You crush it not cut it" I replied whilst passing the notes back to him. "What?" He asked. "Crush don't cut" I shrugged sitting back in my seat. "That's cheating tho" he replied. "But it works" i shrugged before looking at the time that read 6:15. "Alright we're done for the day" and started to pack up my things.

"Same time next week?" I asked as I stood up from my seat. "Yep see you doll" he replied before walking off.

This is going to be one long year.
