Midoriya, Tsu, Mineta, and I made our way through the water so we could regroup with the class.

Mineta chuckles. "I had a good poop this morning, which makes my balls stickier. They're not goin' anywhere!"

"That's something you need to keep to yourself," I say with a disgusted look.

Midoriya starts muttering and Tsu and I both get creeped out.

"Instead of second-guessing what we did, shouldn't we think about our next move?" Tsu questions.

"Yeah. You're totally right." Midoriya agrees. "Ah--" He grips his left hand in pain.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah. Fine. Don't worry about me. We should make getting help our top priority! If we follow the shore to the exit, then we can avoid the central plaza entirely."

"Good idea. That way we don't run into the villains Mr. Aizawa's facing off with there."

"If he doesn't get some backup, then he's just going to overexert himself. He'll end up defeated by those villains 'cause he was trying to keep us safe."

Mineta gasps. "Wait. Don't tell me you're suggesting...? Are you trying to get us killed or something?"

"I'm not saying that we should jump into the middle of a battle. But... Maybe we can find a way to take a few of those guys out and lighten his load."

"Midoriya, I understand that you're worried about Mr. Aizawa, but I think he would rather have us regroup with the class instead of willingly putting ourselves in harm's way. The villains we faced and the majority of villains he's fighting are low-level thugs at best but there are at least three that are real threats." I try to reason with him.

"Maybe but we have to try."

I sigh in defeat since he won't listen to reason, and we all make our way to where Shota is fighting.

"Remember, Midoriya, we're just here to see how things are going, right?" Mineta questions.

"Ribbit."

"I still don't agree with this. We should just go back to the entrance." I try telling Midoriya again.

"Yeah, I know. We'll get outta here the second it seems dangerous." Midoriya responds.

We look at the area where Shota was fighting and see that he managed to take out most of the villains. The villain who was covered with hands then charged at him. Shota threw a strand of his scarf at the hand villain, but he caught it. They both continued charging at each other until they were close enough and Shota went to elbow the villain, but the villain was able to catch it. The moment Shota stopped using his Quirk the villain was able to use his again and he started to disintegrate Shota's sleeve and the skin on his elbow. Shota activates his Quirk again and punches the villain away. He then launches himself backward and fights off the rest of the villains he didn't take out earlier.

"And look at you, you're still standing! You really are so cool! Oh, by the way, hero." The hand villain says.

Shota turns around and sees the creature that stood by the hand villains' side since the attack began. The creature had black skin with scars covering its body, a disturbing grin with sharp teeth, and it had its brain exposed.

"I am not the final boss."

The creature then attacks Shota causing his blood to spill and his goggles to break. My eyes went wide and everything around me became white noise I couldn't hear anything as I saw the man that took me in and treated me like I was his son get mercilessly beaten.
