Cassandra POV

I got home. Jason that bastard.... why,
I break down crying. Was it all a lie.

It's been a month since I last saw Jason. I'm glad ,I would've just slapped him again. I hear a knock on the door. I knew it was Jason... to be honest I was avoiding him. It just doesn't make sense... Jake did change his features but his scar is still there so how could Jason not notice... or unless Jake tricked him as well.

Flashback start

I held the knife near my chest making sure I knew it was there so I could defend myself. " CASSANDRA! BABY!" Jake says screaming. I flinch he must be mad. Lately his been coming home mad and takes it out on me both physically and....mentally. I held the knife closer as I hid under the bed. I heard the door open, his in the room. He moved for a little bit then went out thank goodness. I felt my leg being janked from under the bed. Jake held me by my leg and threw me across the room into the wall. I was now struggling to breath but he can't get near. He started taking his pants off. No I refuse to get abused sexually as well. I swang the knife I had hidden behind me at him with my eyes closed " Ahh" he groaned holding his eye. I started running but he held my legs. I had no strength to fight him off since he refused to feed me for 3 days. He was holding his eye saying " You'll never escape me Cassandra, we're soulmates even if you leave no one will ever love a damaged person like you."

Flashback end

I want answers maybe I was too harsh but it makes sense but I'll hear him out today . I open my door to find ..... Jake. No I quickly closed the door but he kept it open with his hand. Getting into the house , " Nice house you've got my love.... it took some time to find you" He says. I started running to the kitchen. He caught up to me getting ontop of me. I struggled under his weight " Please Jake....don't do this" I say pleading to him. He let me go abit, I then bit him on the nose which caused him to fall off me allowing me to run upstairs.

Jason POV

Its 12 at night. I hear something from next door. I get up immediately to get to Cassandra's house not before calling the police. I get to her door to find it wide open ,once I got to the kitchen I see blood on the floor... oh no. I run upstairs to hear a scream. " JAKE STOP! I'M SORRY" She says screaming . She's in her room. I ran knocking down the door in the process there he is. His ontop of her....with his pants off.... all I see from there is darkness.

Cassandra POV

Jason is ontop of Jake continously punching him. I managed to get up and go to Jason's side. He was still punching an unconscious Jake. I held his fist that was covered in blood. " Jason....it's okay ... I'm okay...stop" I say in tears. He stops looking at me with less intense look. " Cassandra" He says hugging me tightly while crying. " I didn't know I swear to everything I hold dear I didn't know...He tricked me ... if I had seen the scar I would've killed him there and then." He says while hugging me in tears. I was numb but I knew I was safe in his arms.I hug him back. " We need to leave before he wakes up" I say knowing that from experience. Jason carries me downstairs but the moment we get to the door a gun is shoot. I scream. Jake is holding a gun with a bloody face. " Baby ..... come here... or else he dies" he says barely able to stand pointing the gun at Jason. No .... I can't put Jason in danger he has a family to take care off. Before I could speak, " Fine... but I'm coming to make sure you get her out of here safely"He says. Jake simply walks out to the pool side. Jason takes me outside. Now I was panicking.... was he lying

Jason POV

I have a plan but I'd need to make it look like I'm going to give her to him. We are now at one side of the pool . " Now I won't kill you ,just give her back" He says coming towards me holding his arms out to carry Cassandra in his arms. Cassandra was shaking in my grasp.I handed her over to him. The look Cassandra gave me was hurt beyond comprehension with a hint of hate. I swear I'm not betraying you. The moment he had her I kicked him in the knee which caused him to let go of the gun now we both are on the ground fighting ,I made sure Cassandra landed ontop of the grass atleast.

Jake POV

Cassandra my love from the moment I saw her I knew she had to mine. Senior year of highschool was when we met. It was the end of the year when Cassandra came up to me telling she liked me.... this was my opportunity she could be mine finally....my mine alone. Cassandra had no one, a abandoned child not understanding the concept of love..I knew I had found my prey. Cassandra was always a beautiful woman from the time in senior year to now but she looked better beaten up. All bloody in the nose and all. She was a disciplined girl but for some reason never understood the concept of learning rules ,MY RULES. We were together for about 3 years. Those years were were perfect until one day she left me..... SHE LEFT ME! I gave her everything from a roof to sleep in to the clothes she wore now she's with this loser. After 4 years I finally saw her. I saw her at a grocery store. I frowned.... she looked healthy and .... happy.... FUCK THAT! THAT BITCH IS TRYING TO MAKE ME FEEL GUILTY! She looks better beaten up by the person who owns her. I destroyed her mentally, emotionally, physically and sexually now that I see her, she's happy....that has to end.

Cassandra POV

Their fighting on the ground near the pool and the gun was near me. The bastard twisted my ankle when I trying to fighting him off me in the kitchen. I get to the gun and held it up which caused both of them to pause and look at me both holding fear of what I might do. I held it up towards Jake " Cassandra, don't do this... I want us back....I'm sorry for everything" I hesitate...was he really sorry....I- " CASSANDRA DONT LISTEN TO HIM" Jason shouts.I then point the gun at Jason.

Jason POV

She can not be thinking about shooting me....Cass-

The gun was shoot .... both Jake and I looked down , I see blood on the ground not feeling any pain I knew it was him who got shoot but... on the foot it seems then in a flash I see Cassandra run towards Jake sending both if them into the shallow part of the covered pool.

Cassandra POV

I can't breathe....I have a fear of any body of water thats why the pool is covered because of Jake's torture methods. I knew the only way to stop him is to kill him....He didn't know how to swim kinda ironic I didn't either. I get pulled out of the pool. I feel warmth....Jason...I open my eyes to find Jason but it was blurry oh....I feel weird...am I dying...no I didn't drown....oh....I got stabbed ,he must've hid the knife from Jason.....and I'm losing alot of blood. Fuck me man ....I now look towards the pool to find Jake struggling to come up almost drowning. The police are here... every thing from there was blank.

Jason POV

No...I can't lose her... I just can't. These are the thoughts I'm thinking as I'm running with the doctors to the operation room " Jimmy is she going to make it" I say now crying at this point. " Bro I'm not sure....I'll try my best" Jimmy says.

It's been 4 hours. I haven't slept and I'm still waiting on news. Jimmy comes out of the room with bloody scrubs." She's lost alot of blood and has possible brain trauma" He says. " She's okay....just in a short term coma" After that I fell apart. I couldn't.... then everything went blank.
