*************
Minho stared at the report in his hand. He'd been trying to read the damn thing for the past few minutes and still, he had no clue what it said. He couldn't concentrate at all. It was important like his father had reminded him at dinner, and he needed to be prepared for the council meeting tomorrow afternoon.
Except he couldn't stop thinking about Jisung. The fact that Jisung now lived in the room attached to his and would sleep just on the other side of the wall. And Jisung admitted to being curious for more than just a kiss between them. But for almost the entire night, he kept more than an arm's length away from Minho. Jisung was completely absorbed in his chores and he was ignoring Minho.
Minho couldn't take it anymore.
"How do you like your new room?" Minho asked, tossing the report onto the ever-growing pile of papers on his desk.
Jisung paused with his cleaning rag hovering over the metal helmet in his lap. "It's... fine."
"Fine?"
"Yeah," Jisung nodded, gesturing to the room with a hand. "I mean, I haven't actually had the chance to be in there today. I dropped my stuff off this morning and found clean sheets, but that's it."
"You haven't cleaned it yet?"
"No."
"What's kept you so busy today?"
Jisung scoffed, glancing at Minho over his shoulder. "Maybe you haven't noticed Your Highness, but after I packed up my old room, I worked for Namjoon hyung getting ingredients and doing deliveries all over town. Then I cleaned your room, I did your laundry, and now I'm polishing your armor." Jisung held up the metal helmet in his lap for Minho to see. "Since you absolutely have to have it shining by morning. So no, I haven't had a chance to go into my room let alone try and clean it. I'll get it done later tonight."
"Later tonight? As in after I go to bed?" Minho asked, frowning.
"Yeah."
Jisung had passed out cold on Minho's bed just two nights ago and had slept like the actual dead till the next morning. This morning Jisung was awake before Minho, bringing him breakfast before waking the prince with a cheerful smile. Minho was already tired so he couldn't imagine what Jisung was feeling. Jisung shouldn't be skipping sleep to do chores, especially not after running around all day.
"You can't."
"Why can't I?" Jisung asked, shifting a little and facing Minho with a raised eyebrow.
For your own well-being, you idiot!
Instead, Minho said, "Because you'll keep me awake with all the noise."
"I won't," Jisung shook his head.
