Knuckles & Y/n/Sonic the hedgehog 2, 𝗞𝗻𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗲'𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿!𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿

𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝟭𝟬

The next morning, Y/n yawned and stretches when she woke up. she blinked a few times to adjust her vision in the room when she did she noticed that the boys are no longer in the room. it seems that they've already up.

She got off her bed then started to get change. she pulled off her pajamas that she got from Maddie, and put on her tank top and shorts that she got from the mall.
After m, she was done, she heard Maddie call from downstairs.
"Guys! breakfast is ready!"

Y/n jolted.
"Breakfast?"
She rushed downstairs and so happened to be joining with Sonic and Tails.
When they got downstairs, they met with Maddie having a shock on her face.
"Good morning." Sonic said about to grab his plate from her.
"Good morning Madame Mmmm..."
The three saw Knuckles on his throne that he made out of some stuff at the kitchen table.

Sonic gasped.
"What is that?"
He pointed at Knuckles's handmade thrown.
"It is a merrily the seat that designates my role as family champion. if you wish to claim it, you must simply defeat me in a ritual battle of trial by combat."
Knuckles said. his sister gave the look of "unbelievable". Tails nervously laughs.
"What do you mean "trail by combat"?
Knuckles hops off of his throne.
"Come, fox. I will show you."
He began to lead them in the living room.

"Oh boy." Y/n said. as she nervously fiddle with her fingers.
When they arrived her, the living room was completely turned into a fighting pit. In the center was Ozzy with a horn helmet as he looked at the family with her tongue out. Knuckles seem to be proud of his doing as he climbed on a pile of rocks.

"I heeded the hedgehog's advice that my sister and I would use. so we made ourselves at home!"
Maddie and Y/n looked around and shock of disbelief, while Sonic and Tails seem to find this amusing.
"Wow! Love what you've done with the place, Knucks." Sonic said.
"It's very, um, Conan chic." He went up to the swords and picked on the tip of it.
"I never thought about this." Said Y/n.

Maddie didn't seem to approve.
"Nope! This is not happening. We are not turning our living room into some kind of gladiator fighting pit."
"Warrior fighting pit." Knuckles correct to her, like it was nothing.
"Whatever! And wh-what is Ozzy doing here?"
She came over to the dog and started to scratch him underneath his jaw. The poor dog.

"Ozzy has bravely volunteered for the first match by challenging, his greatest enemy."
Knuckles said. Maddie looked up at him puzzled.
"Enemy? what enemy?"

Knuckles then hit the bell make it loud clashing.
They then heard the gate start to open and there inside was the mailman, see me not to know what's going on as he held a bat full of nails.
"Is that our mailman?!" Maddie was outraged.
"Please, I just wanna go home." The mailman said filled with fright.

"I am so sorry." Maddie apologized. she eventually had enough and walked up to to the echidna.
"That's it! get down right now." She ordered.
"You are grounded!" she pointed a finger at his face. He seemed confused of what she said and so did Y/n, but she feels like it's something not good.

Everyone went back to the kitchen with the Knuckles be made to sit down, well, Maddie just looks at him and disappointment.
"I have no idea what that means." He said.

Y/n begin to get worried.
"Does that mean he's banished from here? And my bad from here? Are we both banished from here?"
"Well, I definitely do. and no, it is not mean you are "banished" from here." Sonic begin to explain.
"It means no battling enemies." Then Tails
"No leaving your room on quest." And finally Maddie.
"And most of all, no warrior-ing."
"How dare you." Knuckles said.
"In the name of great chief Pachacamac, I swear you will regret the day you—"
"-Excuse me?!" Maddie interrupted him, but he went on.
