I bet this book has the shortest chapters already. Let's get this over with.

Your name is... Y/N. Not creative I know but if I give you an actual name someone will call me a slur and I'm too tired to cause drama.

You awaken in your bedroom. No. Not bedroom. Just your room.

It was a 10ft x 10ft x 10ft space. The floor was carpeted with a bland tan yarn. The walls were a bland off white color. The ceiling was white and there was a single lamp in the corner that illuminated the nothing that was in the room. It was just you and a lamp.

You and lamp.

You

Soon, the lamp went out. The room was a void but you were somehow still there. Your shadow didn't overtake you like the rest of the room.

Hold on.

Thats....not right.

That isn't normal.

Let me try again.

You wake up from a daydream, ah what a silly mistake. You were waiting for your friend at a local coffee shop! You stared out the large window you usually sat by watching the people pass like fish at the aquarium. As you glance back at the rest of the Cafe watching the people live their lives... You hear a sound behind you from far past the glass. It's your friend's car most likely. They hated walking unlike you, mainly because you lived closer. As the sound got louder more people turned to look at you. How odd, maybe they noticed you staring? It got louder. Louder. As you turned to face the window again all you saw was the glass breaking and the grill of a car inches from your face before it all went black.

Black...

All you could see was black...

You looked at your hands and somehow they were still the same shade as they were before the car.

You looked off into the distance and saw a feint silhouette of someone else wearing a short dress of some sort, they were too far away to see...

No no no! This is still wrong! It's all wrong!

Maybe I'm trying too hard with this.
