You just laid there. Unmoving. Unmotivated. Useless.
Useless...
You feel slow rhythmic vibrations below you. Footsteps. Someone was approaching you.
"Hello? Who are you? What is this place?"
As if you know. You looked up to see who was talking to you. It was a man? He seemed... casual. Too casual. So casual it was as boring as the room you were in before.
"I don't fucking know...I'm in the same boat as you."
"That doesn't answer my second question."
"Hm?"
"What's your name?"
"Don't have one. Easy."
"Um, I'm Richard."
"Alright Richie, fuck off."
That was rude. Well, at least you tried to get information. You walked back to where you woke up and saw a girl talking to a kid. Maybe they knew what was going on?
No no no, IT'S STILL WRONG. WHO'S EVEN TALKING ANYMORE? WHO'S RICHIE? WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE-
Sooner or later, she gets up. The kid seemed to finally notice her and started walking over. The kid waved and smiled but then started doing some odd hand movements. She didn't know what they meant.
"Can you speak?" She asked, her voice somehow still a bit horse from her panicked screaming. The kid shook their head no.
"Do you know where we are?" The kid shook their head no.
"Have you spoken to the others?" This time, the kid shook their head yes. They offered her a hand and she took it. She stood up and followed the kid to the man she saw earlier.
He introduced himself as Richard, and he said the little kid's name was 'Adam'.
"Do you know where we are? Is this hell!?"
"What makes you say that?"
"I saw myself get eaten alive by dogs...Now I'm here and I still have all my limbs."
"Wait, you also died? Maybe this is the afterlife."
"Afterlife? Wouldn't there be more people then? Why is it us of all people that are here!?"
"Hey calm down. We're just as confused as you are. I already talked to the only other person here and they were no help either."
As she looked to his side she saw Adam was doing hand gestures again.
"What is he saying?"
As she watched Adam and Richard doing hand signals to each other, her eyes landed on the 'no help' Richard was talking about.
"Adam said he thinks he knows a way out."
