So it turns out that your sister doesn't just know Cassian via Thomas and even Louisa.
They've known each other the 2 whole years since her and Tommy have been together.
You never really got involved with her life, especially since you moved away but it still would have been nice for her to say something the other day on the phone.
But even then, why is she telling Cassian to leave you alone??
You were 22! Old enough to drink, old enough to sleep with who ever you wanted to.

Your adrenaline starts to pump around your body now as you want to drive over to Tommy's, have it out with your so called sister.
Cassian took you up on your offer of driving him home though so, for fear of going against his words of don't start anything, you joined the dark motorway connecting your home town to his.

You were fuming but he couldn't help but stare at you as you drove, every now and then the light reflecting from a passing lamp post eliminated your pretty face.

You were having an internal argument with your sister, seeing as Cassian told you couldn't have a physical one.
Not realising your foot was getting heavier on the pedal.
His chuckle brings you back into the cockpit of the car.
"What's so funny?" You ask him, not taking your eyes off the road.
"I've never seen you so mad" he simply states.
"This is nothing" you scoff "we used to have fisty cuffs all the time when we were younger"

Cassian smirks as he can imagine.
"You going to fight her this time?" He asks trying to stifle a laugh.
"I fucking want to!" You seethe "how does she even have the AUDACITY to tell me what to do? Tell others what to do! Tell them what NOT to do!" You throw your hands off the steering wheel for a split second as you slap your own thighs.

"Don't be so harsh on her" Cassian tells you but looks out the window as he can feel the glare you were giving him.
Why wasn't he matching your anger?
Why was he allowing someone like your sister to tell him to stay away from you?
Did he want to stay away from you?
If he did then it was pretty stupid to come 20 mins down the motorway to YOUR bar for a drink that he didn't even bloody drink!
You exhale out loudly, choosing to not voice your thoughts just now but you cut yourself off.

"Hold on..." you pull over to the slow lane so you can think clearer.
"When did she tell you to stay away from me?" You ask the Vamp sitting next to you.
"Hmm?" He says like he can't hear you as you look at him, he was pretending that he didn't understand.
"When?" you say louder, he definitely can hear you.

"I don't know" he shrugs looking out the window.
"Cassian!" Your tone of voice causes him to look at you.
You flit your gaze from the road in front of you to him as you take the junction, descending down the exit ramp.
You both sit in silence while you concentrate to get round to the right lane for the other bypass.

"Have we already met?" You ask him, gripping the steering wheel in anticipation.
"We know each other don't we?" Cassian closes his eyes. You were a smart woman.

He had no idea why your sister even suggested the plan that he had been sticking to so poorly.
But she should have known, Tommy should have known, he himself should have known, you can't just 'stay away' from those who you are bonded with.
It's not natural.

You pull into the car park of his own club now, there were still customers queuing up outside.
You yank on the handbrake a little too hard as it creaks in protest.
Cassian doesn't need to be bonded to you to know you were upset.
"I've been made to not remember..." you say to yourself more than to him.
"Before that other night you first walked into Dumcan's...before that time I thought I was talking to a stranger"
Cassian doesn't say a word.

"Are you not going to answer me?!" you hit the steering wheel in frustration as Cassian looks towards the main doors of his bar.
"Come upstairs with me" he tells you not making eye contact with you.
"What?!" you ask him following his gaze to the few faces that were staring towards your car now, recognising the vampire.
