Chapter 10

Next day you woke up, freshened up and had your breakfast.

"Joon, we will go to lab after our breakfast to fix the machine" you told him. He blushed a bit as you called him with nick name.

"Okay!" he agreed.

"Lisa, you will stay here with others" you instructed her.

"Why me? I also want to work on the machine, I am your partner since the project began" Lisa opposed.

"Look, I don't know what chaos these boys will create in absence of any of us, therefore you must stay back to keep an eye on them" you said in her ears so that not to offend other boys.

"But..." she couldn't complete when you interrupted.

"Don't you want to spend some more time with your idol Jung Hoseok" you teased her.

"Stop it!" she slapped your shoulder "Okay I will stay back, but remember, I want each and every update regarding the machine."

"Okay, I will update you with each progress, is it okay now?" you assured her.

"Okay!" she said with fake arrogance, you giggled and continued eating.

You all had your breakfast together and after having your breakfast you took Namjoon to the lab and showed him the machine.

"This is the machine, you might remember how you came out of this machine" you started explaining "most parts of this machine works on your theories and some of them are based on my research like look at this array and this small turner device attached to it, it is based on my calculations" you explained each part and it's functioning to Namjoon in detail, it took you almost 1 hour to explain the whole functioning to him.

"I think there's a problem with your calculations," Namjoon said, pointing to a complex array of circuits. "This time-turning clock needs an extra switch to control the periods more accurately. See here, the synchronization is off by a fraction, which could cause a significant error in time travel."

You both started working on the machine together, you discussed the problems and then picked notebook and pen did few calculations and then again changed the structure of the machine a bit, then again did some calculations and changed some part of the machine, in the mid of the work you both discussed each other's progress to make the machine perfect.

You both were focused on the work when you heard someone entering the lab.

"Hey y/n, how is the work going on?" you listened and identified Lisa's voice.

"Oh, it is going almost good" you replied still focused on your calculations.

"You didn't came for lunch so we came here with your lunch" Lisa kept the food on a side table.

"I am not hungry right now" you replied still focused on your notebook.

Someone picked the plate, filled a spoonful of rice and took it near your mouth.

"Lisa, I said I am not..." before you could complete, you saw that the hand was not of Lisa, you saw in the direction of the hand and saw that Seokjin was there feeding you with spoonful of kimchi rice, you opened your mouth still looking in his eyes with slight surprise and affection.

"It is good you are focused on your work but please also grab some time for your meals" Seokjin said showing concern feeding another spoonful of rice to your mouth. As Seokjin fed you, you couldn't help but feel a warmth spread through you. His care was touching, and you found yourself drawn to his gentleness.

"Thank you so much for doing this much for me" you said adorably and took the plate from his hands.

"Hey, I also exist here" Namjoon said teasing Jin.

"Here's your lunch" Seokjin humbly handed Namjoon the plate of Kimchi rice.

"Thank you" Namjoon took the plate and started eating the food.

"What are the boys doing there?" you asked while eating.

"Oh, I requested J-hope for teaching me dance, so we are doing the same, you know he is great and later Jimin also joined us as he is also in the same field so we are just doing the same" she informed you.

"I didn't asked what one boy is doing, I asked what everyone is doing" you said "but I guess you are lost in thoughts of only one" you winked at her teasingly, she blushed a bit.

"We were all watching a movie, but Yoongi slept in the mid of the movie" Seokjin informed chuckling.

"It is good you are all feeling comfortable here" you said smiling "If any of you need anything please inform me don't hesitate"

'She so good, just resembling Irene' Seokjin was looking at you continuously without even blinking.

"By the way, did you both have your lunch?" you asked Lisa and Seokjin.

"Yes, we already had our lunch with all other boys" Lisa informed.

"Good!" you said and continued eating while chit chatting with them, laughing here and there.

'Her smile is so adorable' Namjoon and Seokjin both were looking at you adorably, you could sense their feelings but you just tried to ignore it as you already had a lot and you didn't wanted any further tension.

"I am done" you handed the plate to Lisa and picked your notebook and pen again.

"I am also done" Namjoon placed his plate on the side table and started working on the machine.

"All the best you both, hope you will repair the machine soon" Seokjin wished you and left the Lab with Lisa.

You and Namjoon continued your work chit chatting in middle of the work, having some fun moments and some good progress in the machine.

"I guess it will take us few weeks to complete this work" Namjoon assumed "There are many changes and calculations left to repair this machine, and those also don't assure us that the machine will function according to our wish" Namjoon showed his concern.

"We only have work in our hands, not the result" you said "Let's just give our best and leave the rest on the luck"

"You are right, we will give our best" Namjoon agreed.

After keeping everything safely, you left the lab. When you came in the backyard, you saw that the sunset was looking beautiful, both of you just stood there for a few moments looking at the sunset, you could hear the boys playing in the front garden.

You got inside the house, changed up freshened up and joined the boys in their game.

You were running and chasing each other when suddenly your leg hit a stone and you were about to fall when both Jin and Namjoon held your waist from both sides saving you from falling, you looked up in their eyes and they looked in your eyes, Lisa coughed dramatically and you quickly got on your legs. You started blushing hard, looking at your condition Jin quickly continued the game to distract everyone.

You all slowly started getting to know each other better. It became your daily routine: working on the machine with Namjoon, having lunch brought by Jin and Lisa, and playing with the others in the evening. You grew close to all of them, your bond of friendship with these boys was growing stronger.
