It didn't feel right.

When Sarada started to ignore him all of a sudden, Boruto felt his heart getting heavy. He didn't like it one bit.

He always felt a pang in his heart whenever he saw Sarada talking with others with a smile on her face, but leaving when he joined the conversation.

It drove him crazy.

It had been about a month since he and Sarada trained together- heck, they hadn't even talked! And it was getting dull without her. Everything seemed black and white. Even his games didn't help him!

"-are you listening, Boruto?" Shikadai asked bringing Boruto out of his little world.

Boruto looked around the table and found his friends watching him with worry in their eyes. "Hey, what's gotten into you?" Inojin asked as he put aside his vedio game.

"Ah, nothing much. Just tired," A white lie, he told.

"You haven't even touched your burger, and that's nothing much?" Inojin asked with his left eyebrow reaching Eiffel Tower.

"I'm not in mood-"

Mitsuki cutt him off. "It's Sarada, isn't it?"

Ohs were heard from both Shikadai and Inojin as they sat back. "I think it is... she ain't talking to you, right?" Shikadai asked as he sipped his drink.

Boruto just nodded.

"Did you do something?" Inojin asked and Boruto could hear the smirk in his voice.

"I didn't," Boruto replied. "Even if I did, I can't remember it. Last month, when we were training, she seemed down. When I asked her, she didn't tell me. And after that, she just stopped talking to me... I-" He stopped when he looked up to find everyone giving him the same look: the are-you-dumb one.

"What?" Boruto asked.

"Dude, how dense can you be?!" Inojin yelled.

What were they saying?

"I-"

This time, Mitsuki cutt Boruto off. "Tell us one thing- why do you care?" He asked, and Boruto nearly cut him in half.

"What do you mean, why do you care?! Of course, I do! She's my friend!" Boruto whined and heard a twin wince from Shikadai and Inojin.

"See, dude. It's somethin' that you should figure out yourself," Inojin stated. "Sorry, we can't help ya," He raised his hands after putting back his drink and got up from his seat. Shikadai followed him.

"Hey! What kind of friends you are?!" Boruto yelled but they both didn't stop and left, not before passing him a smirk. "What is that supposed to mean?!" He asked Mitsuki.

Mitsuki flashed him his creepy smile. "That may be a girl problem," Boruto felt his ears getting hot. "How about you ask Chocho?"

"I am gonna ask Chocho?!"

Mitsuki nodded.

"There's no way! You do it,"

In the end, Chocho was sitting at the place of Shikadai and Inojin.

Mitsuki kept smiling awkwardly between Chocho and Boruto. Chocho had just eaten her sixth burger and had finished four colas, and all the time, Boruto just sat there with his head down to hide his beetroot red face.

"Alright, all done!" Chocho exclaimed.

Boruto shot his head up, "So, tell me now- why is Sarada ignoring me?" He asked.
