OMORI Fanfic WIP!! Some stuff is written but nothing is finished!

WIP!!!!

(I'm gonna start this how I started the other one...NOT LIKE THAT! I just mean with the cold air and stuff lol. This happens after the good ending and after Basil and Sunny are out of the hospital. After some trail and error, they've both been forgiven for what they've done. THERE'S A LITTLE SUNTAN[sunny x kel] IN THIS CHAPTER BUT IT'S MORE IMPLIED THAN ANYTHING. You can see it as friends or as crushes, I don't care.)

The cold air hits Kelsey's as he waits for his best friend, Sunny, to come outside with him. He's been getting better at doing that, and he'd been here to help him the entire way. As he waits, he takes a glance around from where he stands, taking in how so much has changed and so little at the same time.

The door opens. Kel turns his head back towards the door from the shrubbery he had been observing. Sunny. He smiled. "Hey! Wanna come outside with me today? I know it's cold and all, but it's sunny!" He giggled at his own stupid little pun. "I mean like, the sun, not you." Sunny was silent during his entire proposition, the smallest of smiles on his face as he couldn't hold one back. What could he say? He always found his little jokes adorable.

Sunny nodded. He's been trying to get better at talking, but he wasn't quite in the mood to talk currently. Kel could very obviously see this, and even though he respected his best friend's boundaries and his whole talking situation, he couldn't help but hope that would change later.

They are both dressed in warm clothes for the chilly weather. Not very heavy clothes, but ones that are thick enough to keep them warm. Both Sunny and Kel spend their day together, walking around, looking at things, playing games. If Kel could get Sunny to do even the slightest thing with him, then he was happy. That's all it took.

Kel would look up at Sunny a while into their little hangout, a question on his mind. "Do you want to see if we could get someone else with us? Basil, Aubrey, Hero. It doesn't bother me." He smiled at the black-haired boy. Sunny looked up from where he was staring at the ground as they walked. He let that idea graze his mind, before he shook his head. No. He wanted to be with Kel and Kel only today. "...no." He did his best to speak, knowing it would make the taller boy next to him happy.

It did. It did make him happy. Even if it was just that quiet and simple "no", Kel was happy. He nodded. "Alright then! We can go have more fun and be awesome with just the two of us then!" He smiled widely. And so, that's exactly what they did. They continued to walk, and have fun, and play games, and talk. At one point, they even held hands. Sunny found the way Kel's hand wrapped around his was a bit amusing, though it did feel quite nice. Kel enjoyed the feeling of having a hand in his, especially because it was Sunny's hand that he was holding.

After a while of what they had been doing for a little over an hour and a half, they sat under a tree in the shade. Sunny sat with his legs crossed and his back straight, and Kel sat with his legs stretched out and he leaned on the base of the tree they were sat at. They sat in a comfortable silence for a few minutes.

Kel would lean over and rest against his friend, enjoying their closeness. As they sat hip to hip, elbow to elbow, and shoulder to shoulder, Sunny found his face warming up. His expression didn't change, but his cheeks sure did. He wasn't quite used to being so close to someone physically. It wasn't that he hated it, no, he found he actually liked it. It's just that...it was Kel who was doing this. Kelsey, Kel, his best friend.

Kel would lean forward to get a look at Sunny's face for a moment, and he would immediately become worried of the boys now reddened cheeks. "Are you sunburnt?! Jeez, I didn't think it was that sunny today." He giggled. Poor boy didn't understand. "Do you need anything? We could go back to your house and grab something that might help with it."
