After a few days of mourning and uncertainty, a flicker of hope emerged in Pooh's life as the doctors delivered news that Pavel had regained consciousness. Pooh hurried to Pavel's room, his heart racing with a mix of relief and apprehension.

Entering the room, Pooh saw Pavel propped up in bed, looking pale but awake. His eyes filled with tears of joy as he rushed to Pavel's side and enveloped him in a tight embrace.

"Pavel, you're awake," Pooh whispered, his voice trembling with emotion. "I missed you so much."

Pavel managed a weak smile, his eyes filled with gratitude and love. "Where's our baby?" he asked softly, his voice still raspy from days of unconsciousness.

The nurse gently placed their newborn daughter in Pavel's arms, swaddled in a soft blanket. Pavel gazed down at her with awe, his heart swelling with love.

"She's so beautiful," Pavel murmured, his voice filled with tenderness as he gently caressed their daughter's cheek.

"Just like you," Pooh replied, leaning in to kiss Pavel's forehead gently. "You're both my everything."

Pavel's expression turned somber as he looked up at Pooh, his eyes filled with concern. "Pooh... I won't be able to walk like before. I'm sorry if I disappoint you."

Pooh's initial reaction was to snap in disbelief, his emotions still raw from the recent turmoil. "Are you crazy, baby?" he exclaimed, his voice tinged with frustration. "You being alive is all that matters to me."

He took Pavel's hands in his own, squeezing them gently. "Thank you for being alive," Pooh said earnestly, his voice softening with love. "That's all that matters."

Pavel nodded, tears welling up in his eyes once more. He felt overwhelmed with gratitude for Pooh's unwavering support and love during the darkest moments of their lives.

"I love you, Pooh," Pavel whispered, his voice barely above a whisper.

"I love you too, Pavel," Pooh replied, his voice choked with emotion. "We'll get through this together, I promise."

As they sat together in the quiet hospital room, their daughter nestled between them, a sense of hope and renewal filled the air. Despite the challenges ahead, they knew they would face them as a family, united by love and resilience.
