The next day, Pooh decided to stay home and spend time with Pavel. Around 10 am they headed to the nearest market for grocery shopping. As they walked, Pavel moved slowly, and Pooh, ever the joker, imitated his waddling, quacking like a duck. This earned him a playful smack on the head from Pavel.
"Ouch!" Pooh winced, pretending to be in pain. "I'm just teasing, Pavel."
Pavel rolled his eyes but couldn't help but smile. After their shopping, they decided to have lunch at a nearby cafe. Everything was going smoothly until it was time for dessert.
"I want chocolate ice cream," Pavel declared.
"But I was thinking of trying strawberry today," Pooh replied.
Pavel's face fell. "You don't love me anymore, do you? You don't want to share the same flavor of ice cream with me."
Pooh looked baffled. "Pavel, we can both have our favorite flavors. It doesn't mean I don't love you."
Pavel stood up, clearly upset. "If you really loved me, you would have the same flavor as me!"
Pooh sighed, exasperated but determined to make his point. "Ya... I told you that I love you, Pavel! I love you!!! I said that I love you!!!!!" he shouted, his voice echoing through the cafe and catching the attention of everyone around.
Embarrassed by the scene, Pavel quickly ran to Pooh's side and clamped his hand over Pooh's mouth. "Okay, okay, shh!" he whispered, his face flushed with embarrassment.
Pooh's eyes softened as he looked at Pavel. He gently pulled Pavel's hand away from his mouth. "Pavel, I love you more than anything. It doesn't matter what flavor of ice cream we get. Let's have chocolate ice cream okay ?."
Pavel sighed, his anger dissipating. "I'm sorry. I just... these pregnancy phormones aren't joking Pooh".
Pooh hugged him tightly. "I know. And it's okay. We'll get chocolate ice cream and enjoy "
Pavel nodded, a small smile forming on his lips. "I'd like that."
Pooh smiled warmly at Pavel and walked up to the counter. "One chocolate ice cream, please," he ordered, deciding to share Pavel's favorite flavor.
Pavel watched, his heart softening at Pooh's gesture. When Pooh returned with the ice cream, he handed the spoon to Pavel. "Here, we can share this," Pooh said, his eyes full of love.
They sat close together, taking turns with the spoon, savoring the chocolate ice cream. Each bite was a reminder of their bond and the sacrifices they were willing to make for each other. Passersby who had witnessed their earlier argument now saw a couple deeply in love, sharing a simple yet meaningful moment.
As they finished the ice cream, Pavel leaned his head on Pooh's shoulder. "You really are the best, you know that?"
Pooh chuckled softly. "Only because I have the best person by my side."
...................
They spent the rest of the afternoon walking around the market, holding hands and laughing at little things.
As they wandered through the market, Pooh suddenly stopped in front of a baby clothing shop, his eyes lighting up with excitement. He gently pulled Pavel inside. Pavel couldn't help but smile as he looked around at the tiny, adorable clothes. He touched some baby frocks, admiring their delicate designs, but ultimately decided against buying them, feeling they were a bit overpriced.
Pooh, however, was engrossed in choosing some socks for their soon-to-be-born child. Pavel traced his hands over his growing belly, feeling a wave of warmth and anticipation. He approached Pooh and gently tugged on his t-shirt.
"Let's get out of here, Pooh. The clothes are really expensive," Pavel said softly.
Pooh nodded, following Pavel out of the store without any protest. What Pavel didn't realize was that Pooh had quietly placed an order for almost all the items they had admired in the shop.
The next day, while Pooh was at work, Pavel was startled by the arrival of fifteen parcels. Curious and slightly bewildered, he began opening them one by one. To his astonishment, each box contained the very dresses, socks, and other baby items they had seen in the store.
Pavel's eyes welled up with tears of joy and gratitude. He picked up one of the tiny frocks, holding it against his cheek. He couldn't believe Pooh had gone to such lengths to make him and their baby happy.
When Pooh returned home later that evening, Pavel was waiting for him, tears still shimmering in his eyes. Pooh looked concerned as he saw Pavel's emotional state.
"Pavel, what's wrong?" Pooh asked, rushing over to him.
Pavel shook his head, a smile breaking through his tears. "You did this, didn't you?" He gestured to the open parcels scattered around the room.
Pooh grinned sheepishly. "I couldn't help it. I wanted our baby to have the best."
Pavel wrapped his arms around Pooh, hugging him tightly. "You always know how to make everything perfect."
Pooh held Pavel close, resting his chin on Pavel's head. "I just want you and our baby to be happy."
As they stood there, surrounded by the tiny clothes and the palpable anticipation of their growing family, they both felt an overwhelming sense of love and unity. They knew that, despite any challenges they might face, they would always have each other and the beautiful life they were building together.
