**Chapter 17: Choti Choti Baatein**

---

A new day dawned after the grand Diwali celebration, and the warm afterglow of the festivities lingered in Raj’s household. Ayesha, feeling more accepted and confident, decided to focus on the little things that make everyday life special.

---

The morning started with a surprise breakfast for the Kapoor family. Ayesha woke up early and made Raj’s favorite aloo parathas, along with homemade mango pickle and yogurt. She quietly set the table, making sure everything was perfect. Raj woke up to the delicious aroma wafting through the house and smiled, knowing that Ayesha was up to something special.

As the family gathered at the table, Mr. Kapoor took a bite of the paratha and exclaimed, "Wah, Ayesha! Tumne toh Dil jeet liya. Yeh parathe toh bilkul ghar ke banaye jaise hain."

Mrs. Kapoor, though usually reserved with her compliments, nodded in approval. "Bahut accha banaya hai, Ayesha."

Raj, beaming with pride, added, "Maa, Ayesha toh sab kuch perfect karti hai."

Ayesha blushed and replied, "Yeh toh bas choti si koshish thi, sabko khush dekhne ke liye."

---

The day continued with little gestures of love and care. Ayesha noticed that Raj’s younger sister, Neha, seemed a bit down. She approached Neha in her room, where she was studying for her upcoming exams. "Neha, sab theek hai? Tum itni pareshaan kyun lag rahi ho?"

Neha sighed, "Di, exams ka stress hai. Mujhe lagta hai main accha perform nahi kar paungi."

Ayesha sat beside her and held her hand. "Neha, tum bohot intelligent ho. Bas apna confidence banaye rakho. Agar tumhe kisi cheez mein help chahiye, toh mujhe batao."

Neha smiled weakly, "Di, agar tum meri chemistry ke notes dekh lo, toh mujhe thoda relief milega."

Ayesha agreed, and they spent the afternoon together, studying and making notes. By the end of the session, Neha felt much more prepared and less anxious.

---

In the evening, Raj and Ayesha decided to take a walk in the neighborhood park. They strolled hand in hand, talking about everything and nothing. The park was lit with soft lights, and the gentle breeze made the evening even more pleasant.

"Raj, kal tumhara shoot hai na? Tumhare liye kuch special banane ka plan hai," Ayesha said with a twinkle in her eye.

Raj squeezed her hand, "Ayesha, tumhari har choti choti baat mujhe khush kar deti hai. Tumhare bina meri zindagi adhoori hai."

They sat on a bench, watching children play and old couples walking together. Raj looked into Ayesha’s eyes, "Ayesha, tumse milne ke baad meri zindagi mein itni khushiyaan aayi hain ki main shukr guzarna nahi kar sakta."

Ayesha smiled, "Raj, tum bhi toh meri duniya ho. Tumhare saath choti choti baatein karna hi meri sabse badi khushi hai."

---

Back at home, Raj’s mother had been observing Ayesha’s little acts of kindness throughout the day. She called Ayesha to the kitchen after dinner. "Ayesha, tumne aaj Neha ko itna support kiya. Tumhare jaise bahu har maa ki khwahish hoti hai."

Ayesha felt a lump in her throat, overwhelmed by the compliment. "Maa, Neha meri bhi behen jaisi hai. Uska khayal rakhna toh mera farz hai."

Mrs. Kapoor smiled, her eyes softening, "Mujhe khushi hai ki Raj ne tumhe chuna. Tum is ghar ki shaan ho."

---

That night, as Ayesha and Raj lay in bed, Ayesha reflected on the day. "Raj, tumhe pata hai, Maa ne aaj mujhe kitna pyaara compliment diya."

Raj pulled her closer, "Ayesha, tum us compliment ke laayak ho. Tumne sabko apne pyaar se jeet liya hai."

Ayesha nestled into Raj’s embrace, feeling content and loved. "Raj, yeh choti choti baatein hi toh humein ek doosre ke aur kareeb lati hain."

Raj kissed her forehead, "Haan, Ayesha. Aur yeh choti choti baatein hi toh humein hamesha saath rakhenge."

As they drifted off to sleep, wrapped in each other’s warmth, they knew that it was these small moments of love and care that truly made their relationship special. Their journey together was just beginning, and they were ready to face whatever challenges came their way, together.
