Ch.13

(I just realized after posting ch.12 that Seth mentions the summer. And her birthday is in September 😀. Please just go with it. Instead of summer, make it winter break, please. Thank you)

  I woke up today and got dressed. I just threw my hair into a messy bun. As I'm getting ready to leave, I notice our call is still going. I smile and end the call. I walk out of the building and start walking down the street. It's one of those muggy rainy days.

  I eventually get to school, and everyone stares at me. Since I've been riding to school with Jasper and Alice, and I didn't today, it's kind of a shocker. I get in the building and head to my class.

  I get to the cafeteria, and I see Alice waving me over. I walk over and sit with them.

  "We were going to -" She starts.

  "It's fine." I cut her off. They all look taken back.

"Ok, uhm, this Saturday we are going to do a small get-together with us, Carlisle, Esme, and Bella. Her birthdays are Friday, and yours is on Saturday. We all would like to get you something for your birthday. Is there something you would like?" Alice finishes. I think I've never had a legit birthday or a birthday party. If anything, it was Crowley or Cas giving me something small.

  "I got you a dress to wear for it! I think you might like it. Rosalie and Esme helped me pick it out." She adds. I hum so she knows I heard her. The bell rings, and I walk off. As I am walking, I feel someone grab my arm. I turn to see Emmet.

  "Hey. You don't have to be so rude to her, ya know?" He says, letting me go. He's walking me to my class. I nod my head.

  "She's also been stressed out lately about something. We don't know what it is yet, but it's safe to say she doesn't like Bella anymore." He finishes. We get to my class, and he walks off.

  School gets done, and I see the black Chevy waiting for me. Nope, not this time. I roll my eyes and start walking to my apartment. I hear the roar of the engine behind me.

  "Get in the car, Jovi." Shockingly, it's Dean's voice.

  "Last time I did that, yall left me." I say, speeding up my walking. He starts driving when I see a bright red convertible cut him off. I see Rosalie and smile.

  "Get in Jovi." She throws a sarcastic smile at Dean. I hop in, and she takes off.

  "Take me to my place." I command.

  "You calm down." She says. We pull up to the building, and they zoom off. I walk into the lobby and see the lady in a nice dress with makeup and her hair done. When she sees me, her face falls.

  "Where's your brothers?" She asks.

  "Oh, they are at their motel room." I hear her mutter dang it under her breath. I laugh and go up to my apartment. I see a box on the table with a note. It's Alice's handwriting telling me to try it on and tell her if it doesn't fit.

  I tempted it on, and it fits. I hang it up in my closet. I change into my pajamas and go to my desk. I call Seth.

  "Hello?" He answers. It seems like he's walking.

  "Hey, want to do what we did last night?" I ask.

  "Open your door." He says. I get up and walk to the door and open it.

  "Hey." He smiles. I hug him and invite him in. We go to my room, and we lie down. We are in a spooning position. I picked up the book from last night and finished it. We just talk about stuff, and we drift off.

  The next morning, I go for some basic jeans, a shirt, and converse. I go in the kitchen and make a small breakfast for me and Seth.

   As I'm cooking the eggs, I feel a pair of arms wrap around me.

  "Good morning, love." I say. He responds by packing kisses on my neck and collarbone. I giggle.

  "Breakfast is almost done." I say, and he hums. In this instance, I realize that he is shirtless. He gets some plates, and he places them on the small table while I place the food on the plates.

  "Are you going to school at all today?" I ask, stuffing my face.

  "Nah, Sam is picking me up tomorrow, though." He says drinking his drink. I nod. We get done, and I kiss him on the cheek, and I head off. I get to school and I go to my first class.

  I get back to my place to find it's cleaner than what I left it. I walk into my room and find Seth at my desk doing some computer work. I hug him from behind and kiss his jaw.

  "Hey, love." He says. I tell him hello back as I throw myself on my bed.

  "What do you want to do for dinner?" I ask, sitting up on the bed. He goes into thought.

  "Pasta?" He suggests. I smiled and went to see if we had the stuff to make the pasta. I'm feeling spaghetti. We have the stuff, so I get started.

  I get done with the food, and he gets done with his work, and he sits at the table. I put the food in bowls and passed him one.

  "Thank you for the food." He says, stuffing his face straight away. I laugh and do the same thing. We get done and go to my room. He changes into some sleep shorts and no shirt. I changed into a big shirt. We get on my bed and put a movie on my laptop.

  "I love you." He 5 more into my back. I'm stunned. No one has ever said that to me. Not my father, not my brothers, no one. I turn around to face him.

  "I love you too." I say smiling. Them I kiss him on the lips, and he kisses back. We pull apart and go to sleep.
