Lucci and Kaku kept their distance as they followed Starry through the crowded streets going bar to bar. It had been over an hour and there was no sign of Fang and his crew. Still, Starry played the part of a curious tourist and was warned about a particular bar that a 'young lady such as herself' should steer clear of since it tended to attract pirates. Sure enough, as soon as Starry arrived at the bar she saw their target along with his crew. The two men glanced at each other as they watched Starry straighten up her hair and check her outfit before going in. Starry knew exactly what she was doing having done it countless times on past missions. She walked in seeing Fang sitting at the bar laughing and drinking with his crew. Starry paid him no mind as she walked up to the bar and took a seat a few chairs away. Lucci and Kaku entered a few minutes later sitting in the very back, tucked away in a corner. As Starry walked in a few of Fang's crew mates noticed her almost immediately. Not only was she stunning, but none of them had probably seen a neko before, especially one like her. Her species was rare, practically extinct which only added to her unique charm. As Starry ordered a simple fruity cocktail Fang's first mate tapped him on his arm and nodded in her direction. Fang gave him a curious look and turned spotting Starry who was reading the newspaper as she waited for her drink. Fang blushed seeing the exotic woman sitting a few barstools away from him, her eyes scanning over the paper she held. Her ears twitched and occasionally flickered on top of her head and her tail was curled into a hook behind her. Her green eyes stood out from her dark makeup and her black wavy hair framed her face perfectly. The woman's skin was pale, a flawless porcelain that would have made him think she was a spirit if she wasn't sitting right there. Fang turned back to his first mate and his other crew members who were staring at the woman with wide eyes and hungry looks. Fang cleared his throat and waved his hand dismissively as he returned his attention to his drink and his crew. "Come on guys. Get your heads out of the gutter." He scoffed. His crew mumbled in response but did as they were told and went back to talking amongst themselves. Fang kept watching her out of the corner of his eye debating whether or not to approach her. He watched her drink her cocktail and decided to make his move right before she finished it. He stood up from his bar seat and walked over to the woman with a warm smile before sitting next to her. "Good evening ma'am, mind if I buy you another drink? I haven't seen you here before." Fang offered and she turned to face him before her ears perked up and her eyes widened as she looked him up and down.
Starry gave him a shy smile while taking in his appearance. He was tall, probably as tall as Lucci with short orange hair and honey brown eyes that stood out from his tan skin. The man was practically a walking wall of muscle and had a matching large frame to go with it. "Sure. I'm um.. not from around here, just visiting." She replied as she curled her tail around to place it in her lap. Fang's smile widened as he waved down the bartender and ordered her another drink. He scooted a bit closer and placed his elbow on the bar top, clearly flexing his muscles as he placed his head in his hand. "Oh yeah? I figured as much since I know every beautiful woman in town." He flirted and Starry blushed slightly before giggling softly as the bartender sat her new drink in front of her. "So what brings you here? If you don't mind me asking." Fang asked curiously. Starry took a sip of her drink as her mind raced with the best explanation that Fang would buy easily. "I actually just got dumped by my boyfriend and I just.." She trailed off with a soft sigh before looking over at Fang. "I just needed to get away for a while, so I'm on vacation and decided to go out tonight and unwind a bit." She explained and watched as Fang's eyes lit up and his posture straightened. A grin spread across Fang's face and he placed his hand on the bar before leaning a bit closer to her. "I'm sorry to hear about that. I don't know what kind of idiot would ever want to let a pretty thing like you go." He flirted and she giggled softly as she tucked her hair behind her ear and glanced away for a moment. "I'm Fang by the way. What's your name sweetheart?" He introduced himself as he took a sip of his beer.
