Is anyone else's parents like this?
When my neighbors daughter gets a sprained ankle she gets to stay home, for like, two weeks skipping school and the parents don't care.
But for example if I break my leg(metaphorically) my dad would still make be go to school. I cut my leg so deep once and it hurt real bad when I put weight on it, put a bandaid on it and go to school.
I have no sympathy.
My favorite cat Jasper goes missing my parent reaction-
Dad: this is why you don't get attached to them
Mom : well he's not coming back.
Me: asking dad " do you think Jasper's coming back?"
Dad: "I don't know, he comes if he comes he doesn't he doesn't."
"Well—" I say in a sad/angry tone " that's it for now."
