"And to think all of this could have been avoided by you just kept your fucking legs closed."

"Don't don't this, you won't get what you want. It won't be the same, you're not capable of being a rapist Zane, that's not what you're mad for, you're supposed to do great things. Let me go, if you continue focusing on me you'll never achieve greatness."

"I-I don't want to do this, I didn't want to do it the first time, she- I'm being threatened. She has my family, my mom and sister, I don't know where they are but she has them somewhere. I'm sorry about this, about all of this, But it was you or them."

"Zane-"

"I called Adrian when I got a chance to, I think I can get you out. But I might die in the process." He cuts me loose.

"When you hear a loud bang I want you get out of this room with this key and run, run far away, we're surrounded by fields, and a forest. Run until you get to the old cabin far into the woods. In there there's a gun, food, and water. I don't know how long you'll be in there before Adrian finds you, but he'll be looking, I told him that you'll be in the cabin." I nod.

"And what about you?"

"Hope for the best, if I have to get shot so you have a shot at getting out, then I will." I nod.

I heard it. I just heard it.

I pick up the key and walk to the door before quickly unlocking it and being greeted with the outside world. There are two armed men heading away from the door I'm at to find out where the sound comes from.

I take my chance and start running away to the woods. Catching the attention of one of the guards.

Shots begin firing and one hits me in my shoulder, but I can't stop now.

Run.

Just run, don't stop.

I don't know how far I ran, but I finally got to the cabin, it's cold and old enough to have been built in the 1950s by the way it's designed.

I hear the door. And I grab the gun Zane said would be in the cabin and point it at the door.

Before taking the safety off.

"SIR, WE'RE DOING THE BEST WE CAN BUT for now, we  need to be smart about this."

We know that Reinette is in a warehouse and where it is but we're struggling to figure out how to get inside.
"Don't you have tools and people for stuff like this?" Arias, moon's husband, says.

"This isn't Charlie's fucking angels, it's the mafia."
I'm so fucking frustrated.

Reinette's annoying ass family is here, her mom, dad, brother, sisters, sisters in law, brothers in law, and some nieces and nephews. All of which are arguing.

"Boss, we got one of the guards from the warehouse."

"Take me to them." He nods and leads me to the basement, where a small blonde haired male was tied to a chair.

"Please, don't kill me, I'll tell you anything you want." Snitch.

"Tell me everything you know."

"That's all I know." So my ex is trying to get me back in the worst way possible, Zane didn't want to do any of the stuff he did, and they don't know where Reinette is because she ran off.

I pull my gun out of my waistline. "Good, thank you for your cooperation." Before shooting him in his head, his body slumped and his pupil got smaller.
"Clean that up." I say to my guards.

Everyone is looking around in the wood trying to find any sign of where Reinette might be. "Boss! We got something." I walk over to him. "We found footsteps leading to a cabin."

"A cabin?" He nods.

"It's not too far from where we are now, just a little more walking." I nod.

We continue walking until all of us stand in front of a cabin. "Stay out here, if she is in there I don't want to scare her."

I open the door and see Reinette, with a gun pointed at me. She looks at me for a second before slightly lowering it. "Rian?"

"Baby."

"BABY." A sob releases from my throat as I drop the gun and practically run into Adrian's arms. He wraps his arms around me.

"I was so scared." I say burying my head in his neck.

"I know, i know, baby." He kisses my forehead before leading me out of the cabin, where my family awaits me outside.

My mom hugs me tightly and so does my dad, Riona  smiles before a sob release and she hugs me as well. Rhian doesn't say anything or cry but he does hug me after he gives his baby to his wife Nadia.

"We're so happy you're safe. Riona says.

"Where are we going?" I look over at Adrian.

"It's a surprise." Another one? This year made me really, really hate surprises.

We finally stop driving and Adrian gets out of the car first to open my car door. He helps me get out of the car before shutting the door and walking into the large building in front of us.

When we get inside it's dark besides one singular light in the corner of the room. I watch closely as Adrian gets down on one knee. "What are you doing?" He ignores me question and pulls a ring box out of his pocket. "Oh my gosh." I say dumbfounded.

"Reinette Astra Caruso, I have loved you since the moment I set eyes on you. There was recently a point in time where I thought I lost you forever, and in that time I realized how much I needed you. When we first meet I wanted able to be completely be yours because of our circumstances, but now I can be, which is why I am asking, Reinette, will you marry me?"
