this is a long one boys, the only book I've ever finished, and it was rushed. horrible British character, honestly is just disrespectful. told in first person, very amature
also, the words are spelled differently on purpose. they spell them like that in England.
also horribly written. forgive me.
"You can't save everyone. That's just reality."
"I reject your reality and substitute my own."
Queenie Ann Taylor, born March 31st, 1702 in Brighton, England, had always had a strong sense of justice, although it wasn't as ethical as others would have liked.
And then she died.
Well, technically she's still alive, just void of a heartbeat and the blood that once flowed through her veins. Now she craves blood.
The one good thing that came out of being turned into an undead monster was that her skewed sense of justice could finally be put into action.
Now, she stands as the human-loving vampire anti-hero, Nightwatcher, though no one knew of her true identity.
When she's finally ready to move on from her past with a certain human she saved and loved, she is led to Forks, Washington, where her entire world will be turned upside down.

"Hey, Gardy." Queenie Ann Taylor said, sitting down and taking her mask off. "And you too, Lynda." She looked up to the midnight sky, then back to the gravestone of her best friend and first love, Gardner Francis Cooper Fox.
"I... I need some advice, Gardy." She started to say, fiddling with the dainty, thin golden ring with levees "growing" out of it that was on her thumb. It was left to her by Gardner.
"... I think it's time for me to leave this place. I've made sure no one can harm your family, as word has spread that they are under the Nightwatchers protection..." Queenie looked up to the skies again.
"Can you... can you give me a sign if it's ok for me to leave? I don't want to break our promise but...I feel like I have to move on-" Before she could even finish talking, her favourite bird landed on the top of Gardner's gravestone, a shima enaga, soon to be followed by another bird... Gardner's favourite bird, a cedar waxwing.
Queenie's favourite bird is from Japan.
The birds hopped closer to one another, then cuddled. Then, after a couple of seconds of cuddling, it seemed like they kissed, and the fluffy white shima enaga flew away, the cedar waxwing looking at her go. After about thirty seconds, he followed after her.
"I guess that's an approval?" Queenie chuckled, albeit a bit sadly. "I love you, to the end of the universe and back." She repeated their last words to each other, kissing the tip of her fingers and resting them on Gardners headstone. "I'll visit, I will. I promise that. Bye for now, Gardy, you bloody plonker." and with that, she put her mask back on, and took off running, letting her feet carry her to wherever she need be.

Alice Cullen had been helping her aunt, Esme Evenson, form a new house plan when the vision started. "Oh!" she exclaimed. The rest of the family came into the room.
