*Dakota's POV*

We've been in Ireland for around five weeks now. It's been the best time, the children are loving it, Jamie and me are both so relaxed and we're all enjoying being able to spend time with Jamie's family. Jamie's dad had to have a operation on his knee last week, so he's been home resting, poor Sam has had a lot to deal with recently, she looks worn out most of the time but me and Jamie help out wherever we can.

Jamie pulls up on his dad's driveway, and I smile to him as we get out. I help Charlotte out and he helps Noah, before he takes my hand and we head inside. The house is quiet, and we hear the tick of the clock in the hallway. The kids take off their shoes and go running to the kitchen, of course we told them to be quiet before we got here, as their grandad may be asleep.

Jamie goes over to Sam, where she stands at the breakfast bar in the middle of the kitchen. He embraces her, and she looks tired. She hugs him back, closing her eyes. "You okay?" I hear him whisper and she shakes her head against his chest. I sigh sadly, watching them. They pull away, and I hug her next, rubbing her back.

"I just want to get some air" she sighs and I pout, looking to Jamie as I get an idea. "I was going to suggest going shopping for some more toys and clothes for the kids, did you want to join me?" I aim at Sam, but I glance at Jamie to see him grinning at me, I blush and look back to Sam. She gives me a shy smile and nods slowly.

"Only if you don't mind? I didn't want to intrude on any plans you two had?" She stutters and I frown a bit, shaking my head. "You're not. Have you ever been shopping with Jamie? He's so irritating! You'll be doing me a favour" I laugh and she laughs too, her eyes lighter; and It makes me smile. "Hey I'm stood right here" Jamie lifts his arms in a sigh and I laugh.

"I know you are.. and you know exactly what I mean" I raise my eyebrow at him and he laughs, nodding. "Well.. I'll just go and get ready" Sam says, shyly I think. "No rush" I give her a reassuring smile and she heads off upstairs.

Jamie's popped outside in the garden to check on Charlotte and Noah, so I head out to him, wrapping my arms around him from behind. "You're amazing you know" he turns in my arms, kissing my head. "I know" I grin cheekily and he laughs, shaking his head.

"Thank you.. it'll do Sam some good getting out the house for a while" he nods and I kiss him softly, running my hands up and down his arms. "I know. She needs a break, we can go get some lunch or something too" I smile at him and he grins back.

"How did I ever get so lucky" he whispers and I grin, kissing him again. "I'm lucky too" I whisper against his lips, kissing him softly again. I glance to the door when I see movement, and Sam is back down, she's dressed into a nice floral top with black jeans, and she's tied her hair up. "I love that top, it looks lovely on you" I grin and she blushes, smiling.

"Thanks.. Jamie's dad got it for me, but we haven't been anywhere nice to wear it yet" she smiles, sadly I think, and she grabs her handbag from off the kitchen chair. "Shall we go?" I ask her and she nods. We call the kids over and I kiss and hug them goodbye. Sam does the same. I kiss Jamie softly on the lips, smiling against them as I pull away. "See you soon baby.. have fun" he smiles at me and it makes my heart skip a beat.

Jamie hugs Sam goodbye, and we give them a wave as we head out the door to our car. Sam climbs into the passenger seat and I get into the drivers seat. "Maybe we could go somewhere for lunch too?" I suggest and Sam nods, smiling at me. "Thank you for this... I think it'll do me good getting out the house." She smiles shyly over at me. "Definitely! You don't need to thank me" I reach for her hand and give it a squeeze gently.
