*Dakota's POV*

It's my birthday, we had a lovely breakfast that Jamie made. We're just on our way to my mothers now; where the rest of my family are. Mom just said it's a get together but I have a feeling it'll be a big party. I laugh a bit and turn to Jamie; taking his hand that's on the side. He looks to me briefly and gives me a smile; making my heart beat faster.

"I know that it's my birthday but, I got you a surprise.. it's at my moms" I smile shyly and he gives me a shy smile in return. "Really? What is it?" He asks and I giggle. "Well if I told you, then it wouldn't be a surprise" i laugh and he does too; squeezing my hand gently.

"You've got a surprise there too" he smirks to me and I giggle. "I'm excited" I give him a smile before turning to look out the window. Everything is okay between us now, but we still haven't been very intimate or had sex since before I started my filming; around ten weeks ago.

We get to my moms and I help Charlotte out; Jamie helps Noah and we let them run ahead into my moms house. I wait for Jamie and take his hand in mine as we head to the door. I shut it behind us and I'm met by Dulcie at my feet "happy birthday!!" She squeals, jumping on the spot and hugging me tightly. "Oh my goodness!!" I gasp, picking her up and spinning her around in my arms.

"I missed you" I kiss her head before putting her down on the floor. "Missed you!!" She grins, hugging Jamie before we make our way to the kitchen where the rest of my family are. They All greet us and welcome us with hugs. Everyone wishes me a happy birthday and I thank them individually, then my mom nudges me to let me know Jamie's surprise is here waiting.

"Come on, I need to give you your surprise" I take his hand, leading him to the lounge; reaching for the door handle to open it. "Close your eyes" i whisper and he chuckles; closing his eyes. I open the door and step inside. "Open" I whisper and he gasps when he opens his eyes.

"Dad" he grins; embracing his dad In a hug and I hug Sam as she embraces me. I thank her as she wishes me happy birthday. She hugs Jamie next; and Jim pulls me into his arms. "Happy birthday darling" he kisses my cheek and I thank him.

We join everyone else in my moms kitchen and the kids are so happy to see their grandpa and grandma. Noah climbs onto Sam's knee and doesn't leave her alone. After a while Charlotte and Dulcie go to play outside and the adults stay indoors; chatting away; it's nice to see my mom and dad have a big catch up with Jamie's dad and Sam.

Time passes and Jamie and his dad disappear; but I catch sight of them outside sitting on a bench. His dad has his hand on his back. Jamie looks upset and you can tell they're having a deep chat; it tears at my heart.

It's been a few hours since we came to my moms; she did lunch for everybody and then we played a few games in the living room and I opened all my gifts. I'm currently stood at the double door looking out onto my moms garden; watching Dulcie and Charlotte play at the end of the grass.

I jump a bit when Jamie wraps his arm around my neck from behind; kissing my head softly. "Hey..." he whispers and I smile, turning in his arms. "Hey.." I kiss him softly and he kisses me back.

He pulls me close to him, so I wrap my arm around his waist and softly caress his ass. "My mom offered to have the kids tonight..." I smirk a bit and he chuckles softly. "We've got Dulcie for a few days though.." he says and I nod a bit, letting out a sigh "okay"

"What was the sigh for?" He frowns at me and I look away. "I feel like your avoiding all kinds of intimacy with me, I thought we was okay...?" I say quietly as my sister walks past, so she doesn't hear. "We are okay, I just don't want to rush you" he stutters a bit and I shrug myself out of his hold.
